Pac-12 Tournament 2015 Schedule: TV Coverage and Bracket Info
The Pac-12 has been controlled by Arizona all season long. The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 16-2 conference record, but even more impressively, they were a perfect 4-0 against Top 25 competition. Arizona now enters the Pac-12 tournament as the favorite and is looking to claim a No. 1 seed in the Big Dance.
While the Wildcats are the team to beat, the Pac-12 has been highly competitive this year. Utah was a regular in the Top 25, and Oregon, UCLA and Arizona State all came on strong toward the end of the regular season. All of these teams are talented enough to win the tournament outright, and as we know, anything can happen in March.

Prediction

Arizona has been one of the nation's most well-rounded teams this season, ranking 22nd in points scored and 17th in points allowed. During the team's final two regular-season contests, it exploded offensively, scoring 99 and 91 points, respectively, and building plenty of momentum for the conference tournament.
The Wildcats' depth was well on display in their final regular-season contest against Stanford. Stanley Johnson has been their leading point-scorer all season, but he put up just nine against the Cardinal. That didn't matter at all, as his supporting cast took control of the game.
Brandon Ashley and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson really stepped up, combining for 29 points and 16 rebounds, while T.J. McConnell was perfect from the free-throw line and finished with 10 points of his own. Factor in the 13 points scored by Kaleb Tarczewski and you get double-digit scoring from four of the team's five usual starters.
Stanford just couldn't keep up with Arizona's fast-paced offense—a common trend for many teams against the Wildcats this season—and McConnell spoke of the team's mentality going forward during a press conference with The Associated Press, via ESPN.com, "It doesn't stop here. We have to keep playing like that in Vegas."

Getting a motivated Arizona team in the Pac-12 tournament doesn't bode well for the remainder of the conference. So, who has the best chance to usurp the Wildcats?
The hottest team aside from Arizona right now is Oregon; however, while the Ducks have fared very well on their home court, they've had mixed results on the road. Having to play an entire tournament outside Eugene will be difficult enough, but considering Arizona's had its number this year—the Wildcats won their two games against the Ducks by a combined 52-point margin—Oregon isn't a safe bet.

Utah will be the team to watch here. The Utes have been solid this season despite a rough finishing stretch and boast a strong shooting offense and stout defense. They were able to hang with Arizona during their late-February meeting, losing by just six points.
The Utes successfully held Arizona's prolific offense to shoot just 33.3 percent from the floor; however, a poor shooting day of their own doomed the Utes, as they hit just 30.9 percent of their attempts. Although, if Utah is to compete with the Wildcats in the tournament, it must show a better presence in the boards, as Arizona accumulated 44 rebounds to Utah's 35 in that contest.
So, here's the prediction.
Expect Arizona to take down UCLA in the semifinal, while Utah defeats Oregon on the other side of the bracket, setting up a Wildcats vs. Utes final. Utah's solid defense will keep Arizona from running away with the game, but it won't be good enough to steal the win.
Prediction: Arizona defeats Utah in the final
