SEC Tournament 2015: TV Info, Teams, Odds and Championship Predictions
The Kentucky Wildcats swept the SEC—and everyone else—en route to a 31-0 regular-season record, marking the first time any power-conference team achieved the feat since the 1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers.
While the conference tournament is certainly Kentucky's to lose, the SEC does feature several NCAA tournament-worthy squads—a few of which gave the Wildcats a run for their money during regular-season action and will be aiming to improve their positions heading into the Big Dance.
Will Kentucky take advantage of its double bye, take the SEC tournament title and improve its record to 34-0 before setting its sights on a national championship, or will a conference rival thwart the Wildcats' bid at a perfect season?

Prediction

Kentucky's dismantling of Florida in its regular-season finale gave a pretty fair indication of what we should expect during the SEC tournament. The Wildcats are an extremely well-rounded team that plays good defense, can drain buckets from anywhere and dominate the boards.
All of those traits were well on display against the Gators.

In their 67-50 victory, the Wildcats displayed a consistently physical presence in the paint, attacking the basket regularly and attempting just six shots from downtown.
Despite some aggressive play from the Gators, Kentucky clamped down on the defensive end of the court late in the contest, forcing its opponent to settle for jumpers.
As a result, Kentucky shot 47.2 percent from the floor as a team and accumulated 31 rebounds to Florida's 26. After the contest, forward Trey Lyles spoke with The Associated Press (h/t ESPN.com) about the team's mentality going forward:
"We take pride but our journey is not done. We have a lot of work to do and we only have two guaranteed games left in our season, so we have to make sure we go out there and play hard and together.
It just shows how great these guys are on the team, how much we care for one another and how much we want to win.
"
With Kentucky clobbering Florida—last year's SEC champion—for a second time this year, we'll have to look elsewhere to find a potential bracket-busting squad.
Interestingly enough, Vanderbilt could be that team.
The Commodores ended the regular season on a five-game winning streak after handily defeating Ole Miss 86-77 on the road. Four of Vanderbilt's five starters scored double-digit points in that contest, as the team shot an impressive 54.5 percent from the floor and 56.5 percent from downtown.
That kind of efficiency from three-point range could make this team incredibly dangerous during the SEC tournament, as it won't have to rely on attempting to penetrate the defenses of bigger teams to such a high degree.
Freshman guard Riley LaChance had this to say to The Associated Press (h/t ESPN.com) regarding his team's effort:
"We're playing with confidence. Some of the things we weren't doing well early, we've cleaned that up. We've definitely got some momentum going into the SEC tournament.
...
We had 25 assists on 30 baskets so that speaks to how we really shared the ball tonight. It gave us open looks -- guys being unselfish and looking around on the floor.
"
Confidence, momentum and chemistry are all very important traits for any team to possess heading into postseason action, and Vanderbilt has all three. While other squads like Georgia, Arkansas and LSU have chances to make some noise, the Commodores appear poised to provide a stellar showing.
Expect Vanderbilt to advance through to the tournament final, where they will meet Kentucky and fall to the Wildcats in a close game.
Tournament prediction: Kentucky defeats Vanderbilt in final.
