SEC Tournament 2015: Full Schedule and Complete Bracket Predictions
The Kentucky Wildcats are going to slice their way through the SEC tournament like a hot knife through butter.
While that statement may wind up being true, let's keep one thing in mind: It's called March Madness for a reason. We've seen shocking upsets in both conference tournaments and the NCAA tournament each and every year—no team is invincible.
That said, the Wildcats will be the team everyone is gunning for. They are the nation's unanimous No. 1 seed and hold a perfect 29-0 record with only two regular-season contests remaining. That mark has clinched the SEC title for the Wildcats, via theScore:

Bracket Predictions

This tournament really all comes down to which team is capable of beating Kentucky. Arkansas is the only other ranked SEC team; however, the Razorbacks' last attempt at taking down the Wildcats ended in an 84-67 rout by the No. 1 seed.

Arkansas isn't known for its defense, allowing an average of 70 points per game, and that's the biggest reason this team isn't capable of taking down Kentucky—it doesn't have the firepower to keep up. As a team, Kentucky shot 48.3 percent from the floor against the Razorbacks despite the Wildcats' inaccuracy from downtown.
Following the game, Arkansas guard Michael Qualls reflected on his team's performance during a press conference with The Associated Press, via ESPN.com: "I'll give it to them. They were taking it to the boards and taking shots. I don't think we made a three-point basket in the first half and that's big because we can shoot the ball really well."
The Razorbacks went just 5-of-18 from behind the arc in that game; however, defeating Kentucky will take more than a boost in three-point accuracy. ESPN Stats & Info tweeted one reason why:
If Arkansas isn't the team to take Kentucky down, who else has a shot? The two teams that forced the Wildcats into overtime earlier this season were Ole Miss and Texas A&M (in back-to-back games).
The Rebels were very impressive against the Wildcats, getting great performances from Stefan Moody and Jarvis Summers; however, the team was unable to keep up with Aaron Harrison's 26 points. Since then, the issue for Ole Miss has been defense. The team continues to win shootouts, and that's not a good recipe for success against a surging Kentucky squad.
The Aggies are a good defensive team, and they caught a slumping Wildcats squad at the right time earlier this season, holding Kentucky to shoot just 28.1 percent from the floor as a team. However, Texas A&M couldn't complete the victory after shooting just 33.3 percent itself and 13.3 percent from downtown. This team just doesn't have enough offense to take down such a juggernaut.
After the close call with Texas A&M, Kentucky coach John Calipari gave his brief thoughts on his squad during a press conference with The Associated Press, via ESPN.com, "We're not a very good team right now."
That comment must have struck a chord with his young players, as the team has been dominating ever since.
If there's anything to take away here it's this: While Kentucky is rightfully the huge favorite to win the SEC tournament, teams like Ole Miss and Texas A&M have performed well enough to warrant consideration as potential opponents in the final.
