NC State vs. UNC: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction
North Carolina State came into the Dean E. Smith Center on Tuesday night badly in need of a resume-building win, and it got one.
The Wolfpack (17-11, 8-7 ACC) snapped an 11-game losing streak in Chapel Hill with a stifling 58-46 victory over their in-state rival No. 15 North Carolina.
They now have wins over Duke and on the road at Louisville and North Carolina as they continued to build their case for inclusion in the field of 68.

NC State dominated the pace of play from the opening tip, going deep into the shot clock and waiting for quality looks on offense. It led by 11 at the half and by as many as 18 in the second half.
Three Wolfpack players were in double digits, led by sophomore guard Anthony Barber with 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting from the field.
It was a bad night all around for North Carolina.
The Tar Heels (19-9, 9-6 ACC) set a record for the fewest points scored in a home game at the Dean Dome with 46, and the loss was head coach Roy Williams first at home against NC State since taking over the program in 2003.
North Carolina scored just 18 points in the first half, also a record low under Williams, struggling to get into any sort of offensive rhythm.
A 12-0 second-half run brought the game to single digits, but empty possessions, turnovers, and clutch shots in key moments sealed the deal for the Wolfpack.
Justin Jackson was the lone bright spot on offense for North Carolina. He finished with a game-high 16 points.
Marcus Paige was a non-factor with just seven points on 3-of-8 shooting. The Tar Heels have dropped three of their last four, with Paige in single digits in each defeat.
