Members of 1990 UNLV Basketball Team Get Tattoos to Honor Late Jerry Tarkanian

Legendary UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian may be gone, but he will not be forgotten—especially by his former players.

Tarkanian died last week at the age of 84. This week, a group of players from the 1990 UNLV championship team got together and found a cool way to honor their late coach.

As a tribute to Tarkanian, former players Larry Johnson, Anderson Hunt, Stacey Augmon, Mo Scurry, Chris Jeter and James Jones each got very similar tattoos on their arms.

The 1989-90 Runnin' Rebels went 35-5 and won the national championship in blowout fashion against Duke, 103-73.
