Tavern talk: Blue-Chip Players Part Four
Today, let’s recap where we are in our discussion of blue-chip players in the AFC. I love the comments, love being called an idiot over some of my choices, but this is my list, and one thing I’ve learned about grading players is that not everyone is always on the same page. In fact, as someone once said, if we’re all thinking alike, then no one is thinking.
But really, some of the names...Hines Ward? Are you kidding me? He’s marginal as a starter now and nowhere near a blue chipper.
And I love the fan who called me an idiot about Lee Evans of Buffalo. If you think I’m an idiot, you might want to call all the AFC East defensive coordinators for their comments. Start with Bill Belichick for his review.
I love it. There’s nothing better than a raging debate about the talents of players.
Here’s the AFC Position Blue breakdown. The NFC East and North will appear in the Tavern on Monday.
