11:15 p.m.

Tottenham have confirmed the signing of English midfielder Dele Alli from MK Dons:

Alli will rejoin MK Dons on loan until the end of the season, per @SpursOfficial.

Alli, 18, has been dubbed the "next Steven Gerrard" and has represented England at the U-17, U-18 and U-19 levels.

8:30 p.m.

A possible departure to keep an eye on…

We'll keep you updated on this one.

Dele Alli deal getting closer, Kaboul to Spurs?

3:15 p.m.

Looks like if Tottenahm do anything today in the incoming sense, then it will be with an eye on the future. Seems like some progress, albeit slow progress is being made in the pursuit of Dele Alli.

Elsewhere, meanwhile, it now appears that West Ham are interested in taking Younes Kaboul on loan (and perhaps Emmanuel Adebayor as well). That would certainly be interesting...

Stoke join race for Lennon

1 p.m.

Looks like Stoke have now thrown their hat into the ring to grab Aaron Lennon on loan, with Hull's offer apparently not particularly appealing to the player in question.

Alli deal alive, Kaboul could depart

12:30 p.m.

A bit of speculation surrounding Spurs as the day starts to mature. Sky Sports News remain convinced that the club are still in talks with MK Dons over a deal for Alli, one complicated by the possibility of a loan-back arrangement.

Elsewhere, rumours have it that Younes Kaboul has attracted the interest of both Roma and Besiktas. An initial loan deal, with a permanent transfer worth around £4m to follow, is the current speculation.

As for Adebayor, consensus remains that he is not interested in going to QPR and will not be going anywhere today. But we shall see.

Kane celebrates new deal

11 a.m.

Far be it from us to suggest that Spurs have deliberately announced the new contract today in order to distract from the lack of any other deals coming into the club...

Adebayor to decide on QPR move?

11 a.m.

With Harry Kane signed to a new long-term deal today, it looks like Emmanuel Adebayor's time at White Hart Lane could be up. Reports indicate that QPR have made an approach to take the striker on an initial loan (made permanent if Harry Redknapp's side stay up), although it appears the striker might not be completely sold on the switch.

Alli deal remains in play

10:30 a.m.

Tottenham remain very interested in MK Dons winger Dele Alli, although the clubs are apparently still to agree a fee for the youngster. Speculation is that any deal for the youngster would involve an initial loan back to Stadium:mk.

Kane signs long-term contract extension

10 a.m. GMT

The club has confirmed that star striker Harry Kane has signed a new long-term contract with the club. Signing of the day?

All hail Harry Kane.

Lennon loan deal to Hull in doubt

10 a.m. GMT

Looks unlikely that Aaron Lennon will be completing his loan move to Hull, despite the club apparently telling the winger that he is free to leave (which is code for: please, please go).

More as we get it.

Reid deal ruled out by Allardyce

9:45 a.m. GMT

Sam Allardyce has dismissed talk that Winston Reid could leave West Ham on Monday, dashing the hopes of Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal (among others).

"

Quite a few clubs have been trying to take some of our squad players away. That is not acceptable in terms of where we are at the minute and that has upset those players because they can probably get longer or bigger contracts elsewhere.

But with the position I am in, they will just have to grin and bear it. They are contracted to this club and while you would like to help them, you can’t.
