Cousins Dealing With Sprained Ankle

KTXL Fox40's Jam Crandell has the news:
Cousins missed a game earlier this month with a sprain to the opposite ankle, so this is certainly something worth paying attention to. However, it doesn't sound serious, and after being snubbed from the All-Star Game during Thursday's televised announcement, there will be plenty of motivation for him to suit up and make a statement, as The Washington Post's Michael Lee suggested:
Despite what the voting process says, Boogie is in the midst of an All-Star campaign, averaging 23.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 blocks per contest. He has 26 double-doubles in 32 games and is one of only three players averaging at least 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Beyond his ridiculous stat lines, his worth is apparent in Sacramento's record. The Kings are 14-18 with him in the lineup and just 2-10 with him sidelined.
If this injury keeps him out for a significant period of time, Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, Derrick Williams, Ryan Hollins and Reggie Evans are all candidates for a bump in minutes.
