Heat Looking to Trade Cole

If the Miami Heat are looking to offload Norris Cole, they may have a trade partner in the Charlotte Hornets.
Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Monday that the Hornets are hoping to add another point guard after Kemba Walker's injury:
Walker could be looking at a lengthy layoff. Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer reported that the 24-year-old will have knee surgery on Wednesday. You can understand why Charlotte would want to strengthen its numbers.
Cole has appeared in 39 games this year. He's averaging 6.2 points on 38.6 percent shooting and 3.4 assists a game. His three-point shooting has really fallen off from where it was last year, dropping from 34.5 percent in 2013-14 to 23.9 percent in 2014-15.
Adding Cole wouldn't make the Hornets a demonstrably better basketball team, but he would provide some depth on the bench, and Miami's asking price is unlikely to be too high.
