Chicago Cubs in Need of a Win: Game Four Preview

Tonight, at 7:40 ET, the Chicago Cubs and Colorado Rockies are going to square off at Coors Field for the final game of their four game set. So far, Colorado has two wins and Chicago has one.

Tonight's pitching match up features new guy, Tom Gorzelanny (4-1) for the North Siders and Jorge De La Rosa (9-8) for the Rockies.

Gorzelanny made a great first impression in his debut for the Cubs. He threw 7 1/3 innings of three-hit ball against the Reds back on Aug. 4. He even helped himself with a RBI single.

Gorzelanny has one goal for his time in the majors. Cut down on his free passes. He did just that in his last start by only giving up one walk.

Hopefully he can continue that trend tonight.

De La Rosa is having a decent year so far. The lefty is 9-8 with a 5.00 ERA along with 120 strike outs.

Against the Cubs, De La Rosa is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in four relief appearances covering 6 1/3 innings.

My Prediction

I think the Cubs will take game four against De La Rosa.

The Cubs have a very potent right handed lineup. With guys like Soriano, Soto, Lee, Ramirez, Theriot, Bradley, and Johnson.

The Cubs are a force to be reckoned with.

The Cubs have proven themselves as of late to be real contenders in the NL Central this season once again, and they should not be taken lightly.
