"
Anthony also provided a statement to Bleacher Report:
"I made a mistake. I apologize to my colleagues and business partners, but most of all to my wife and my family. With this lapse of judgment, I embarrassed many, including myself. I will work to regain the trust that I have lost and the first step is saying that I am sorry.
"
CBS released a statement on Anthony's arrest on Saturday morning, announcing that he would be suspended for the rest of the season, according to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal:
Anthony spent 11 seasons in the NBA with six different organizations. Following his retirement, Anthony quickly transitioned into broadcasting. He spent time working at ESPN before joining NBA TV and then becoming a college basketball analyst/announcer for CBS Sports.
In October 2014, Turner Sports announced that Anthony, along with Grant Hill and Chris Webber, would work on a rotating basis with Marv Albert on TNT's NBA broadcasts to replace Steve Kerr, who left to coach the Golden State Warriors.
