Wisconsin vs. Rutgers: Score, Twitter Reaction for Scarlet Knights' Upset Win
In terms of talent, no one will argue Wisconsin's rightful place among the top five college basketball teams in America. But on Sunday night, the Badgers' lack of quality depth was put on display.
Playing without National Player of the Year candidate Frank Kaminsky, and spending a good portion of the second half without senior Traevon Jackson, the No. 4 Badgers let a double-digit lead slip away during a 67-62 loss to Rutgers. The NCAA March Madness Twitter feed noted the upset:

Rutgers coach Eddie Jordan talked about the big win per The Associated Press (via ESPN.com): "It's a great win for the program. Our crowd was here to witness it. Hopefully it leaves a taste in their mouth and they want more."
Myles Mack (21 points) and Kadeem Jack (20 points) led the way for the Scarlet Knights. Mack, Rutgers' diminutive senior guard, keyed a comeback with four three-pointers in the first eight minutes of the second half and a clutch layup in the final minute to seal the win. He finished with 19 points in the second half.
CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein was left speechless by the shocking result:
As ESPN's Jeff Borzello noted, it capped an unpredictable weekend in college basketball, which saw No. 1 Kentucky tested by Texas A&M, while No. 2 Duke and No. 5 Louisville also fell:
Sam Dekker (15 points, six rebounds) and Nigel Hayes (15 points, 10 rebounds, five assists) unsurprisingly played well for the Badgers with Kaminsky out, but for a team that typically only goes six- or seven-deep, the absences of two starters were too much to overcome.
Yahoo Sports' Jeff Eisenberg found a positive takeaway for the Badgers:
Still, Rutgers entered the game No. 174 in Ken Pomeroy's rankings, owning losses to Saint Peter's and St. Francis. This is one the Badgers should have won.
ESPN's Joe Lunardi projects a drop for Bo Ryan's squad in the NCAA tournament outlook:
Ultimately, though, the Badgers should get a pass. They have looked like an offensive juggernaut for most of the season, and as long as they're at full strength, they are still fully capable of a deep run in March.
