Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Philadelphia 76ers 1/5/15: Video Highlights and Recap
On a night when Dion Waiters was traded and already without LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in tow, the Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to Philadelphia to face the 76ers on Monday.
The Sixers entered with the league's worst mark, having lost five straight, a perfect opportunity against a bad squad for Cleveland to get back to winning.
Minus two-thirds of their superstar trio, Kevin Love put the Cavs on his back, but ultimately it wasn't enough as Philadelphia eked out its first home win of the season, 95-92.
Love went off for 28 points and 19 rebounds, but a balanced scoring effort from the 76ers starters and a Tony Wroten spark with the second unit were too much to overcome.
Point guard Michael Carter-Williams filled up the box score with 18 points, six rebounds and 13 assists, while Wroten added 20 points and eight helpers.
At 19-16, Cleveland barely holds on to the No. 5 seed in the East. And with its fifth victory, Philadelphia has now tied New York and Minnesota for the fewest wins in the league.
