Montrezl Harrell Suspended 1 Game: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction
Louisville Cardinals star Montrezl Harrell has been suspended for one game by the Atlantic Coast Conference for his actions during Saturday's win over Western Kentucky.
An official release from the ACC on Sunday provided the details and reasoning behind Harrell's punishment:
"[...] The Atlantic Coast Conference has issued a one game suspension to Louisville's Montrezl Harrell after he received a flagrant foul two during the Cardinals' game against Western Kentucky on Saturday. The suspension will be served by Harrell in Louisville's next game against CSU-Northridge on Tuesday. The ACC considers the matter closed and will not have further comment.

ESPN's Jeff Goodman noted that the first-half altercation Harrell was involved in saw him apparently throw a punch, though it wasn't conclusive:
Louisville has to feel rather fortunate that it won't lose its standout junior for any longer, especially against such an inferior foe as California State Northridge.
Harrell, who was ejected from Saturday's contest, is averaging 16.7 points and 10 rebounds for the undefeated, fourth-ranked Cardinals. Coach Rick Pitino also relies on Harrell as a defender, which has been a staple of Louisville's success during his tenure.
This rather minor one-game reprimand means Harrell will be back just in time for the team's biggest game of the season. A monumental showdown with the No. 1 Kentucky Wildcats looms this next Saturday.
