Dear Mr Marley,

 

Have you read the latest article on Ricky Hatton, he is now saying he was overtrained that was why he lost to Manny? It seems to me that all of them proud boxers who lost to Manny got some lame excuses.

 

1. Barrera I - Lack of concentration

2. Marquez I (draw) - Bias scoring

3. Morales II - Lack of concentration, family problems

4. Morales III - Weight drained, a shot fighter

5. Barrera II - Bias scoring

6. Marquez II - Bias scoring

7. De La Hoya - Weight drained, a shot fighter

8. Hatton - Overtrained

 

If Manny wins over Cotto, expect this:

 

9. Cotto - a shot fighter or weight drained

 

And if Manny and Floyd fights and Floyd loses:

 

10. Mayweather Jr - weight drained if fight is fought at a catch weight, long inactivity or ring rust

 

However, these excuses are pale compared to Manny's excuse when he lost to Morales: blister! :)

  Your email borders on brilliance. I think you meant to say biased scoring but we get your point. Sure, it's all those Pinoy judges who have been scoring Pacman bouts, lol.

 

   As far as Reckless Ricky goes, I guess he just had his septic tank pumped out. Docs had to flush out all the fast food grease and pints of beer trapped in his whatchmacallit area.

 

   Regarding Ricky Don't Lose That Number's numerous excuses, keep in mind he does aspire to become a standup comedian.

 

    I understand he is putting together a three knockdown under six minute routine. Standup is just what he couldn't do in the ring against the fierce Manila Ice storm that came his way.

 

  You're a Good Humor Man, Marshall, even recalling when Manny had those sore feet.
