Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Last week, plenty of cheat sheets would have boasted the likes of Latavius Murray, Jarvis Landry and others. Those two just represent sleepers, too.
With Week 13 a mere days away with a trio of games on Thanksgiving, let's get right to it.
Skill-Position Rankings
| 1 | Aaron Rodgers, GB | DeMarco Murray, DAL | Dez Bryant, DAL | Jimmy Graham, NO |
| 2 | Andrew Luck, IND | Le'Veon Bell, PIT | Demaryius Thomas, DEN | Rob Gronkowski, NE |
| 3 | Peyton Manning, DEN | Arian Foster, HOU | Antonio Brown, PIT | Julius Thomas, DEN |
| 4 | Tom Brady, NE | Jamaal Charles, KC | Jordy Nelson, GB | Antonio Gates, SD |
| 5 | Tony Romo, DAL | Marshawn Lynch, SEA | Julio Jones, ATL | Greg Olsen, CAR |
| 6 | Drew Brees, NO | LeSean McCoy, PHI | Calvin Johnson, DET | Martellus Bennett, CHI |
| 7 | Ben Roethlisberger, PIT | Justin Forsett, BAL | A.J. Green, CIN | Delanie Walker, TEN |
| 8 | Matt Ryan, ATL | Matt Forte, CHI | Emmanuel Sanders, DEN | Travis Kelce, KC |
| 9 | Cam Newton, CAR | Mark Ingram, NO | Jeremy Maclin, PHI | Jared Cook, STL |
| 10 | Mark Sanchez, PHI | Alfred Morris, WAS | T.Y. Hilton, IND | Dwayne Allen, IND |
Second only to Peyton Manning this season at quarterback, Andrew Luck is a lock to continue his elite run of form.
Few quarterbacks have been as consistent as the signal-caller for the Indianapolis Colts, as he has breached double digits every time out this season. That said, Week 12 was a bit of a down week with just 14 points, but a matchup with Washington—the team that surrenders the third-most points to backs—should get Luck right back on track.
Thanks to an unfortunate injury, Arian Foster has been absent the past couple of weeks. Despite this, the Houston Texans star is still the fifth-highest scorer at the position.
Owners can only pray that he is good to go in Week 13, as he gets a Tennessee defense that gives up the most points to backs this year and has allowed a minimum of 27 in each of its past four outings—41 of which came against the Texans back in Week 8.
At the very least, the team sounds confident a return is in the works:
Cincinnati Bengals wideout A.J. Green could write a book on how to return from injury. Over the course of his four games back, Green has hit double digits three times. He next gets to face a Tampa Bay defense that allows the fourth-most points to wideouts this year.

Green is not going to score as much as somebody like Dez Bryant thanks to the difference under center, but he still produces at an elite pitch. A bad matchup only makes his prospects more attractive.
Most owners seem to shy away from Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker (62.1 percent owned), but he quietly ranks among the top 10 scorers at the position and just last week grabbed five catches for 155 yards and 15 points against a quality Philadelphia defense.
The Texans also rank well against tight ends, but Walker proved last week he can be trusted as a TE1 regardless of matchup, even with a rookie under center.
Sleeper Projections
| QB | Ryan Tannehill | MIA | at NYJ | 240 Pass Yds., 3 TD |
| RB | Andre Ellington | ARI | at ATL | 85 Rush Yds, 2 TD |
| WR | Justin Hunter | TEN | at HOU | 65 Rec. Yds., 1 TD |
| TE | Eric Ebron | DET | CHI | 45 Rec. Yds., 1 TD |
| D/ST | Giants | NYG | at JAC | 2 Turnovers, 5 Sacks |
Owned in less than 50 percent of leagues, it seems as if Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is never going to get the respect he deserves.
Like Luck above, Tannehill has gone for double digits in every game this season. Just last week he torched Denver for a trio of scores and 26 points, one shy of his season-high mark. Not only is he hitting another strong patch of play, he next gets the New York Jets, the team that allows the most points to the position this year.

Andre Ellington has burned his 98.1 percent of owners as of late. Make it three games in a row now that the Arizona Cardinals back has failed to reach 10 points, although those were bad matchups against the strong defenses of St. Louis, Detroit and Seattle.
No worries, though—Ellington is going to rebound in a major way in Week 13 against the Atlanta Falcons, the team that surrenders the second-most points to backs this year.
Not only is Tennessee wideout Justin Hunter a great waiver-wire add (14.5 percent owned), he is a must-play option in Week 13 against Houston.
The booming arm of rookie Zach Mettenberger has unlocked the deep potential of Hunter. Last week he caught four passes for 64 yards and a score, good for 12 points. Those Texans surrender the most points to wideouts this season and have allowed 22 or more in eight consecutive games.
Like any good sleeper with high upside, Detroit Lions tight end Eric Ebron comes with some risk. A note from Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports sums it up best:
Owners need to have faith that the rookie will get his act together, though.
Owners simply cannot pass on a matchup against the Chicago Bears, the team that allows the most points to the position. Ebron has yet to reach double digits, but this week seems like it will be the first.
Waiver-Wire Targets
| Teddy Bridgewater | QB | MIN | 9.3 |
| Zach Mettenberger | QB | TEN | 4.1 |
| Latavius Murray | RB | OAK | 10.1 |
| LeGarrette Blount | RB | NE | 20.1 |
| Daniel Herron | RB | IND | 15.1 |
| Jarvis Landry | WR | MIA | 11.2 |
| Stedman Bailey | WR | STL | 0.1 |
| Charles Johnson | WR | MIN | 0.3 |
| Justin Hunter | WR | TEN | 14.5 |
| Andrew Hawkins | WR | CLE | 44.6 |
| Tim Wright | TE | NE | 4.5 |
| Kyle Rudolph | TE | MIN | 16.0 |
Speaking of Mettenberger, the rookie is a pretty good stash right about now.
The former LSU star has come on in recent weeks, scoring 15 or more points in three of his last four. Last week was a career-high of 19 as he continues to better settle down with weapons such as Hunter and Walker around him.
The most interesting add of the week goes to New England Patriots back LeGarrette Blount, whose wacky journey that has left owners befuddled is best explained by NFL Network's Albert Breer:
After being an afterthought in Pittsburgh behind Le'Veon Bell, Blount is now a must-own, matchup-proof commodity after bruising his way to a season-high 19 points in his debut with the Patriots.
By the way, Dolphins rookie wideout Jarvis Landry is one of the main reasons Tannehill has been so consistent this year. Landry is arguably the No. 1 receiver in Miami and has three touchdowns over the course of his last two games.
That said, his concern over fantasy owners is lacking, as the team's Twitter account captures:
All joking aside, Landry must be owned in all leagues, especially with matchups against the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens on deck. Both rank among the 10 teams that give up the most points to the position.
Another enigma out of New England is tight end Tim Wright. The man has three double-digit outings this year, although good luck trying to predict when they will happen.
Wright played 61 snaps last week on his way to 15 points, with his previous high being 21 snaps. Had the Patriots made this known, he was an obvious TE1.
Like any good waiver add, Wright is a high-risk play. The upside, should he actually get playing time, is his TE1 production last week.
