Colin Kaepernick, Michael Crabtree, Anquan Boldin Post-Week 12 Fantasy Reaction
The San Francisco 49ers squeaked by with a third straight, one-possession win in Week 12 over Washington.
Although the Niners didn't score much in a 17-13 victory, fantasy owners had to be pleased with the production from receivers Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree under the circumstances.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Colin Kaepernick was proficient through the air and also had 14 yards on the ground to help compensate for his one interception. With opponents stuffing the box after San Francisco reverted to its ground-based attack in two prior games, it was on Kaepernick to carry the team through the air.
Still not a finished product as a pocket passer, it's hard to count on Kaepernick as a QB1 on a weekly basis, especially with the Niners' traditional penchant for pounding the rock. However, his dual-threat capabilities make him a threat to break out against a favorable matchup.
SportsCenter highlighted the significance of Kaepernick's first-quarter scoring toss to Boldin:
Even at age 34, Boldin is proving he can still get it done and appears to be improving as the season goes on. With four touchdowns now in his past six contests, he is a strong WR2 with WR1 upside.
Crabtree received seven or more targets for the sixth straight contest, yet his overall production doesn't warrant anything other than a strong flex option or a borderline WR2 in deep fantasy formats.
As talented as the trio of Kaepernick, Boldin and Crabtree is, San Francisco hasn't stuck with an offensive identity in 2014. Until the Niners commit either way, the fantasy outlook for everyone in that offense is cloudy.
