Sunday Night Football Week 11: TV Schedule, Live Stream for Patriots vs. Colts
Get ready for a clash of AFC juggernauts when the New England Patriots meet the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football in Week 11. These teams last met in January, and New England's ground-and-pound attack led to a 43-22 victory and ousted Indianapolis from the playoffs.
Oh, how things have changed since then.
This time around, the Patriots may have difficulty running on a Colts defense ranked ninth in the league against the ground attack. Conversely, Indianapolis may hold the league's most potent passing game, but the addition of Darrelle Revis in the Patriots secondary sure makes things interesting.

Preview and Prediction
This will be a battle between two teams that really know how to put up some points. Indianapolis leads the league with an average of 32.2 points per game, and New England isn't too far behind, ranking third with an average of 31.2 points.
The scoring similarities continue on the defensive side of the ball, as the Patriots are allowing an average of 22.0 points per game, and the Colts are giving up an average of 23.4 points per contest. Neither have been extremely prolific in this category, so we should expect to see some large numbers on the scoreboard.
Those statistics also factor into this interesting piece of information from ESPN Stats & Info:
We already know Indianapolis is a pass-heavy team. In a blowout win against the New York Giants in Week 9, quarterback Andrew Luck threw 46 passes compared to the team's 24 rushing attempts. This, despite the Colts owning the lead for all but eight of the game's minutes.
Luck has already impressed his impending foe, via SportsCenter:
Although, interestingly enough, Indianapolis is a good running team. Ahmad Bradshaw has been terrific this season out of the backfield. During the contest against the Giants, he rushed just seven times but gained 50 yards—an average of 7.1 yards per carry. His ability to serve as a receiver only adds to his tremendous value to this offense.
Similarly enough, the Patriots are set up in the same manner. Quarterback Tom Brady leads a very potent passing attack on an offense that's just as lopsided as the Colts'. In a Week 9 drubbing of the Denver Broncos, New England passed 53 times compared to just 25 rushing attempts.
That kind of offense has led to a very decorated career for Brady, via Sunday Night Football:
Like Bradshaw for the Colts, Shane Vereen has been valuable as a dual-threat option for the Patriots. Despite gaining only 29 yards on 11 carries against a stout Denver run defense, Vereen's value came in the passing game, hauling in five receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.
With versatile running backs and a bevy of weapons in the passing game, both the Colts and Patriots are built to do severe damage to opposing defenses. Expect that to be the case when these teams take the gridiron on Sunday night.
So, who has the upper hand?
Obviously, Indianapolis' home-field advantage will be a big positive for Luck, as he can remain in a pass-friendly environment. However, we must remember that both teams are also coming off bye weeks, so coaching adjustments will play huge parts in this contest's outcome.
Taking that into consideration, it's really difficult to bet against the mad scientist known as Bill Belichick. The Patriots earn a road victory in a very tight game.
Prediction: Patriots 37, Colts 34
