Drew Stanton's Full Fantasy Scouting Report Following Carson Palmer's Injury
With Carson Palmer carted off the field Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, the stage is once again Drew Stanton's.
Palmer's left knee buckled in the fourth quarter, and he left the game as a result. Michael Chow of The Arizona Republic snapped a photo of the Arizona Cardinals quarterback on his way to the locker room:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stanton is now elevated to the starting job, and many fantasy football owners are wondering whether he's worth a midseason pickup.
The short answer looks to be no. After Palmer signed his three-year extension with the team, ESPN Stats & Info tweeted out an infographic detailing how the Cardinals perform when Palmer is absent:
Arizona has talented receivers, but Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown and Michael Floyd aren't good enough to lift up a marginal QB and make him look better than he is. Stanton had a big Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers, but the larger body of evidence points to him being a fantasy non-factor.
Here are his numbers from Sunday.
| Comp./Att. | Yards | YPA | TD | INT |
| 3/5 | 85 | 17.0 | 1 | 0 |
Perhaps you could add Stanton as a replacement for Palmer, but the 30-year-old shouldn't be considered a QB1 except in extremely deep leagues as a streamer.
