Preview and Prediction

Green Bay may be coming into this contest on the heels of a brutal loss to the New Orleans Saints, but this team was one of the NFL's most dangerous after rattling off four consecutive wins in prior weeks.
Luckily, this team is coming off a well-timed bye week following the loss to the Saints in which quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a hamstring injury. According to Green Bay's official Twitter account, the signal-caller is rested up and good to go:
The Packers began their hot streak against Chicago in Week 4. A banged-up Bears secondary couldn't come close to containing Rodgers, and he completed 22 of his 28 passing attempts for 302 yards, four touchdowns, zero interceptions and a passer rating of 151.2 as a result.
Rodgers' top receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb had field days against the Bears in that contest, as Cobb caught seven passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns, while Nelson accumulated 10 receptions for 108 yards and two touchdowns.
Coming into the second contest between these two teams, the Bears' 23rd-ranked passing defense must step up in a big way to compete with Green Bay's potent passing attack.
On the other side of the coin, Chicago is chock-full of talent on the offensive side of the ball—it just needs to put it all together to get out of its current slump.
Running back Matt Fore has been electric for this team. He's a home-run threat every time he touches the ball, and he's extremely consistent. The last time he faced the Packers, he rushed 23 times for 122 yards and added five receptions for 49 yards. Green Bay's weakness on defense is against the run, and Forte must be heavily involved in Chicago's game plan.
Quarterback Jay Cutler has weapons such as Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett as his disposal, yet that won't matter if he continues to make poor decisions resulting in interceptions. They last time these teams faced off, Bennett racked up 134 receiving yards and both Marshall and Jeffery scored touchdowns. However, Cutler's two interceptions doomed the team.
Cutler hasn't fared well against Green Bay in the past—he's 1-10 against the team, including the playoffs—and Bleacher Report put together a video of all 20 of the quarterback's interceptions when playing the Packers:
The weather in Green Bay is expected to reach 39 degrees with some wind gusts and precipitation. That may hinder the passing attack for the Packers slightly, but it will increase the chances of interceptions from a turnover-prone Cutler.
The home team wins the turnover battle and emerges victorious this time around.
Prediction: Packers 27, Bears 20
