Andrew Luck, Coby Fleener, Dwayne Allen's Post-Week 9 Fantasy Reaction
Andrew Luck's big leap in his third NFL season has allowed the Indianapolis Colts to own the league's No. 1 passing offense entering Week 9's Monday night matchup with the New York Giants.
Colts tight ends Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen were in Luck's 2012 draft class and are both improving alongside their franchise signal-caller. Although Allen's athleticism continues to give opposing defenses problems, Fleener found the end zone first on Monday at MetLife Stadium.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Luck and Fleener, roommates in college at Stanford, were very much on the same page on the first-quarter scoring play. Mike Wells of ESPN broke it down:
Based on the fact that Luck has had seven straight 300-yard performances, it's common knowledge that he's a QB1 no matter the fantasy format.
ESPN Stats & Info alluded to the significance of that achievement:

Chris Wesseling of NFL.com highlighted Luck's amazing 2014 pace:
Former coach and NFL Network analyst Steve Mariucci praised Luck prior to Monday Night Football, per the New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano:
"Really, we all ought to respect Peyton Manning and Tom Brady being that they've been doing this well for so long. We keep them on top of the pedestal. But Andrew Luck is right there. Andrew Luck is going to be the guy, provided he's healthy, that will threaten all of these records someday, because he is absolutely the real deal.
"
Even though Luck should have innate chemistry with Fleener, the tight end had only caught 18 of 34 targets through the Colts' first eight games. Then he managed a mere four receptions on 11 targets in Week 9.
Since Fleener's TD came on a somewhat gimmicky play, don't count on him as anything better than a flex fantasy option in deep leagues.
The Giants' defense sold out to stop Ahmad Bradshaw on the goal line, so Allen got away with an extremely easy one-yard TD grab himself.
As a personal Allen fantasy owner, though, he has been better than a myriad of patchwork alternatives, which is all he was at first on the fantasy team of yours truly. However, Allen has made a habit of finding the end zone, with six touchdowns entering Monday's game.
Allen has the most upside going forward, and Luck targeted him twice on the first possession, which were both successful connections. Don't be surprised if Allen, also a superior blocker, eventually surpasses Fleener on the depth chart and proves to be a better receiver as well.
