Drew Brees, Kenny Stills' Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 7
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was having his way for most of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions in Week 7, and Kenny Stills was among the main beneficiaries.
Brees was moving the ball with ease against the Lions on Sunday, going 28-of-45 for 342 yards and two touchdowns. Stills was constantly getting open, catching five passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.

However, Brees threw a crushing late interception that set the Lions up for a late game-winner to pull out the 24-23 victory with two touchdowns in the last 3:38.
The Saints quarterback has been criticized for an inability to push the ball down the field, but that wasn't on display with Brees' 47-yard touchdown to Stills, as Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com noticed:
A second-year pro out of Oklahoma, Stills had quite obviously the best performance of his season. He had only been targeted 15 times in four games prior to Sunday, but nearly doubled his receiving yardage total (previously 141) in Week 7.

Not much was expected of Stills—and perhaps even Brees—against the Lions' top-ranked pass defense, but after a breakout performance he should be a hot waiver commodity. He's only owned in 3.6 percent of ESPN leagues.
Brees has consistently put up strong numbers in fantasy with at least 15 ESPN fantasy points in every game, but only ranks as the 17th-best quarterback. Sunday looked to be the second game in which he avoided a turnover before throwing that fateful late pick.
The Saints face a fifth-ranked Packers pass defense in Week 8. Stills and Brees made it happen against an elite secondary on Sunday and they could very well do it again next week.
