NFL Schedule Week 7: TV Coverage Map, Start Times and Live Stream Info
The New England Patriots and New York Jets kicked off Week 7 of the 2014 NFL season by providing the closest Thursday Night Football contest we've seen so far this season. It took a blocked field goal in the waning seconds of the game for the Patriots to earn a two-point victory.
That's not a bad way to start the week.
Just when we thought the madness would subside until Sunday, some shocking news broke soon after. The Seattle Seahawks dealt wide receiver Percy Harvin to the Jets for a conditional mid-round draft pick, according to ESPN.com.

Game of the Week
Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts

When the Bengals (3-1-1) travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts (4-2), we may be rewarded with one of the most high-octane games we'll see this year.
Both of these offenses are firing on all cylinders coming into Week 7. The Colts and Bengals were on fire in their respective Week 6 matchups, combining for a total of 70 points, resulting in a win for Indianapolis and tie for Cincinnati.
The Colts boast the league's top-ranked offense, averaging 444.0 yards per game. Much of that production is coming from quarterback Andrew Luck. He's averaging 328.7 passing yards per game, and he's on quite a torrid pace this season. Here's a look at his potential season-end numbers, via ESPN Stats & Info:
Luck may be the driving force in the Colts' offensive surge this season, but the emergence of running back Ahmad Bradshaw has added much-needed balance to this attack. Bradshaw is averaging 4.7 yards per carry and doubles as a formidable receiver out of the backfield. He has accumulated five touchdown receptions so far this season.
Head coach Chuck Pagano raved about his offensive weapon during an interview with Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star: "All he did (in New York) was come in off the bench, from the bullpen like we talk about all the time, and kill everybody, gain a bunch of yards. When we got him, he didn't have a bunch of wear and tear on him. There was a lot of tread obviously left on those tires because of that."
As for the Bengals, it will be a tougher offensive outing once again without star wide receiver A.J. Green in the fold, according to Coley Harvey of ESPN.com. However, quarterback Andy Dalton has been fantastic this season, and the team's offense clicked without Green in Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers.
Dalton is a big reason why Cincinnati owns the league's fifth-ranked offense, averaging 397.0 yards per game. He passed for 323 yards and two scores with receiver Mohamed Sanu acting as his primary target. The quarterback in complemented nicely by the exciting Giovani Bernard out of the backfield.
Bernard rushed for 137 yards and a score against Carolina in Week 6 thanks to an incredible 89-yard touchdown scamper early in the game. Here's a look back at the ball-carrier's run, via Bleacher Report:
While both of these teams have been fantastic on offense, the same can't exactly be said about the defensive side of the ball.
Cincinnati is currently giving up 398.8 yards per game to opposing offenses. Indianapolis is faring better, allowing 340.5, but these teams are neck-and-neck in regards to points allowed. The Bengals are giving up 22.6, while the Colts are allowing 22.7.
Bernard took to Twitter and summed up the game perfectly:
We should be expecting plenty of offensive firepower in this game. Dalton and Luck figure to light up opposing defenses and put plenty of points on the scoreboard. This contest has all the makings of an epic shootout.
Hang on to your hats.
