49ers' Antoine Bethea Picks off Pass in 100th Consecutive Start
San Francisco 49ers safety Antoine Bethea made his 100th consecutive start in Sunday's 26-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.
Bethea celebrated the occasion the way any defensive back would hope to, hauling in his 15th career interception and also forcing a fumble. The two turnovers, both of which came during the third quarter, played a huge role in helping the 49ers to overcome a 21-13 halftime deficit.
For any Indianapolis Colts fans tuned into Sunday's game, Bethea's clutch performance came as no surprise.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Drafted in the sixth round by Indianapolis in 2006, Bethea started 123 out of a possible 128 regular-season games over eight years, including 96 in a row to finish his tenure with the team.
Overshadowed by both oft-injured fellow safety Bob Sanders and the Colts' prolific offense, Bethea never quite got the recognition he deserved outside of Indianapolis.
The Colts then decided to part ways with the fan favorite, opting instead for a starting safety duo of Mike Adams and LaRon Landry.
While Bethea is off to an excellent start with his new team, it was announced Monday that Landry will serve a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances, according to Kevin Bowen of the Colts' official website.
