Robert Turbin, Marshawn Lynch's Instant Fantasy Reaction After Week 2
The Seattle Seahawks' backfield distribution against the San Diego Chargers was decidedly peculiar for Pete Carroll's run-heavy team: just 10 touches for bell-cow Marshawn Lynch, and four for Robert Turbin.
Don't get used to seeing that.
Although both backs were able to somewhat salvage their day with receiving touchdowns, the light workload is going to create a temptation for fantasy owners to overreact. Here's a look at the final numbers for the pair:

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
| Marshawn Lynch | 6 | 36 | 0 | 4 | 27 | 1 |
| Robert Turbin | 2 | 7 | 0 | 2 | 35 | 1 |
Rest assured, though, the circumstances were not normal.
Seattle held the ball for just over 17 minutes all game, as the Chargers' offense consistently moved the ball and controlled the clock. As a result, Lynch barely got just three touches, while Turbin did most of his work during the two-minute drill in the first half—a role he has always owned.
Don't panic.
Lynch is still a legitimate RB1. While this offense is more balanced than in the previous couple of years, it's still run-heavy and it will still be protecting a lead more often than not. Beast Mode received eight carries in a game last season, but tallied at least 16 in every other contest. This will be a similar outlier.
Remember what he did in Week 1 against the Packers as a better indicator for his value.
This is, however, another reminder that Turbin is the clear handcuff to own. Second-year back Christine Michael has alluring talent, but he's still battling a hamstring injury. As 4for4.com's Josh Moore noted, Turbin is using this advantage to prove himself:
If Lynch were to go down, Turbin would immediately enter RB2 status with significant upside in this offense.
