Kyle NewportAug 13, 2014

The Arizona Wildcats are going to have quite a few new uniforms to choose from when they take the court this upcoming season.

Nike has hooked the Wildcats up with five new sets of uniforms.

The two white uniforms will be used at home, while both the blue and red ones will be worn on the road. The gray uniform will reportedly be used for both home and away games.

More pictures can be seen on the official Twitter account of Arizona basketball.

The "new" look may seem a bit familiar to Wildcats fans. The design honors one of the best eras of Arizona basketball, via ArizonaWildcats.com:

"

The side paneling and trim of the new uniforms pay tribute to the uniforms the Wildcats wore for roughly a decade beginning in the mid-1990’s, a period that cemented Arizona’s place among the nation’s elite college basketball programs.

"

During that era, Arizona won a national championship (1997) and was the national runner-up (2001).

The new uniforms will also reportedly have a cactus-based aerographic that covers the entire back. However, the back of the uniforms has yet to be revealed.

It's a familiar look for the Wildcats, but with a modern twist.
