A player is lucky to hit one buzzer-beater in a season. Hitting a last-second three-pointer to beat the same team three times in a season is ridiculous to even think about.
For Saint Peter's guard Desi Washington, it was a reality.
In the first round of the MAAC tournament on March 6, Fairfield tied the game at 62-all in the final seconds of overtime. Even though the Stags knew where the ball was going, they couldn't stop Washington. The guard hit a three-pointer in the final seconds to beat Fairfield for the third time this season:

How did he get that shot off? Washington was swarmed by three defenders. That wasn't enough to keep him from hitting another clutch shot.
It was a familiar sight for Fairfield.
Back on Jan. 8, Washington made a three-pointer as time expired to give Saint Peter's a 56-55 victory:
The Peacocks needed another big shot from Washington on Feb. 25, and the junior delivered with another three-pointer to give his team a 63-62 victory:
Even after the first two buzzer-beaters, Fairfield couldn't prevent Washington from hitting a third.
