Minor-league teams have to figure out some way to be creative enough to get attention. That can mean anything from signing notable players to new uniforms to odd promotions.

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Philadelphia Phillies' Triple-A affiliate, went the bacon-themed uniform route. The IronPigs shared some details about the new look:

The 'Smell The Change' initiative is brought to life in the IronPigs brand-new bacon-themed Saturday ensemble, which includes a bacon strip logo transfixed to the cap, a fresh 'Pigs' jersey design emblazoned across the chest as well as the first-of-its-kind bacon-style piping down both legs of the pants. The bold new bacon strip logo sits atop a two-tone cap featuring the familiar colors of IronPigs Steel and Furnace Blue.

The team's new top includes a strip of bacon underneath the "Pigs" script:

Lehigh Valley took to Twitter to show off its home uniforms for weekend games this season:

It will wear the black jersey for Friday games, the bacon-themed uniform for Saturday games and the blue jersey for Sunday games.

Here's a closer look at the hat:

The IronPigs had been running a "Smell the Change" campaign, and now it all makes sense.
