Landon Milbourne Will Have His Best Season for the Maryland Terps
I predict that Landon Milbourne will have his best year as a Terp in the 2009-2010 season.
The Tri-Captain has had a good career and when Maryland takes the floor for the upcoming season Milbourne will probably be in better shape then any player in the ACC. He will be ready to lead the Terps to their best season since he first walked through the doors at the Comcast Center. He will do this for himself, his team, his coach, and his parents.
Milbourne always wanted to be a Terp, probably since his early days of living in the Ocean City, Maryland area, and when his time is up at Maryland he will have left it all on the court.

Playing out of position last year may have not been all that bad for his career. He worked hard every night, learned some new fundamentals and no one out hustled him on the court. He can play the entire game, if needed, guard any position on the court, and shows his leadership on the court.
His career started playing behind DJ Strawberry, who was drafted in the NBA. That season he did more learning than playing. However, he remained focused, continued to work hard, and waited for his opportunity.
His sophomore season saw him get on the floor and get some game experience, while trying to see where his talent can best be used. The one thing he did well that season is play defense, hustle, and he shot the three well.
Last season, playing out of position, he took one for the team. Often guarding much taller players, jumping center to start the game, and getting in foul trouble early in the season. He adjusted, never complained and often got his points by out hustling his opponent down court on fast breaks and by scoring off the press.
This season I expect to see Milbourne, Hayes, and Vasquez, if he returns, to be well respected in the ACC. The trio came in together and this year will be their year. With help coming under the board, look to see an exciting Terps team. Gary Williams should be happy to have his seniors back on the court.
Milbourne should be an All ACC selection and have a bright future at the next level.
