Kassius Ohno, Enzo Amore and Latest WWE NXT Developmental News

WWE NXT is going to need to find a new knockout kid and a replacement "realest guy in the room" with Kassius Ohno and Enzo Amore gone.

Ohno's career with WWE developmental is over for now after the company released the indy vet. Amore is one of several NXT prospects out with an injury. NXT just won't be as fun while he's out.

In other news, a former Divas champ visited the WWE Performance Center, the 200th episode of NXT features some appealing bouts and WWE hosts tryouts in Germany.

Kassius Ohno Released

Kassius Ohno is no longer with WWE. After several contentious months, it's official.

As reported by ProWrestling.net, "WWE reportedly released Chris Spradlin (a/k/a Kassius Ohno) from his NXT developmental deal."

One of NXT's best overall talents, Ohno was pulled from NXT tapings in September and told to improve his physique, per Wrestling Observer, via WrestlingInc.com. There were continued reports of tension between Ohno and WWE officials. 

Apparently, the two parties couldn't work out their differences.

Now a free agent, Ohno has quickly found other work. He will be wrestling for Dragon Gate USA, taking on Johnny Gargano at Sunday's Freedom Fight online pay-per-view, per ProWrestling.net.

He wrote a lengthy message about being released on his Facebook page. The post is extremely positive, stating that he left WWE on good terms and hints that he could be back with the company in the future. Of the here and now, Ohno writes, "I am genuinely excited to take things into my hands and get back out there."

As disappointing as it is to have Ohno not make it to the main roster before his run ended, the independent scene just got a lot more interesting.

Tryouts in Germany

While on tour in Europe, WWE decided to take a peek at some potential prospects.

WrestlingInc.com reports that "Adrian Severe, The Arabian Star and V.I.P. from the German 'New European Championship Wrestling' school/promotion, received tryouts at yesterday's WWE live event in Munich."

All three of these wrestlers are not widely known, but they look promising in terms of in-ring skill. Curious fans can check out some of their work on the New European Championship Wrestling YouTube Channel.

The Arabian Star's manic energy in interviews like this one are worth a viewing regardless if you speak German or not.

Mickie James at Performance Center

The NXT Divas will get a chance to learn from one of the best when Mickie James offers a hand at the WWE Performance Center.

PWMania.com reported that James was at the center in Orlando on Monday and "will be there all week as a guest trainer for the WWE developmental Divas."

The NXT Divas division is already arguably better than the main roster version and getting the opportunity to work with a wrestler who succeeded in both WWE and TNA can only give women like Paige and Emma a wider breath of knowledge.

Asking James to give a few lessons is definitely welcome, but hiring her to perform in the ring would be even better.

Enzo Amore and Others Injured

NXT is not going to look the same in the next few months as a number of prospects are sidelined with injuries.

PWInsider, via WrestlingInc.com, reports that Enzo Amore will be out six months with a broken leg, Judas Devlin has been recovering from a spinal injury while Scott Dawson suffered a torn ACL. The report does have some good news, however. Corey Graves, who was out with a concussion, is back in action.

Someone on the crowded, talented NXT roster is sure to take advantage of Devlin, Dawson and Amore being out.

200th Episode

The 200th episode of NXT will feature a NXT Championship match and a battle of two Europeans.

WrestlingInc.com reports that William Regal will take on Antonio Cesaro at the Nov. 21 tapings at Full Sail University while Bo Dallas defends his title against Adrian Neville. It's a bit odd to see Cesaro and Regal clash with each other instead of with one of the prospects.

Dallas' run as a haughty, self-assured heel has been entertaining. Working with Neville should result in some fantastic action.
