Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings: Offensive Stars That Will Produce Big Numbers

Matt FitzgeraldJun 5, 2018

There are certain players in fantasy football that are able to be counted on for big numbers virtually every time they hit the field.

As Week 10 of the NFL season approaches, there are several offensive superstars in particular that will have monster performances. Based on how all these studs are playing at the moment and their matchups, they should be at or near the top of the rankings at their respective positions.

Before taking a look at complete offensive fantasy rankings for the upcoming action, here is a more detailed analysis of the likeliest No. 1 options.

Robert Griffin III, QB, Washington Redskins

It remains to be seen just what type of Griffin we will see on a weekly basis, but last year's No. 2 overall pick did will his team to an overtime victory over the San Diego Chargers this past Sunday with the season on the line.

With how inconsistent Griffin has been, giving him such a ringing endorsement seems a bit bold.

However, his Week 10 opponent is the Minnesota Vikings, whose defense is 29th in total yards per game allowed and gives up the third-most points per contest at 31.5.

If there were any doubt about Griffin's feelings toward his knee, they went out the window on this breathtaking run last week:

Minnesota presents the type of dream matchup that can keep Griffin's roll going. Even though he did not find the end zone against the Chargers' leaky defense, it is worth counting on him this week on the road at Mall of America Field.

If Washington is meant to truly contend in the weak NFC East, Griffin needs a big game. In the midst of a hostile environment and to spite his deepest doubters, RGIII will get it done and be a top fantasy QB this week.

Projected Numbers: 20 of 30 for 280 yards passing, 3 TDs; 6 carries, 40 yards, TD

Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seattle Seahawks

"Beast Mode" is due for a true eruption, and that should happen in Week 10 after logging a season-high 125 yards rushing in Sunday's comeback overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As flawed as the Bucs are as a team, their run defense is formidable. Lynch's physical style resulted in consistent gashes on his 21 carries, as he had a long run of only 14.

Lynch also matched a 2013 best of four receptions against Tampa Bay, and a trend from the contest is likely to reverse very soon:

Seattle's desire to punish its next opponent will be especially high. Using Lynch as the workhorse is a great way to accomplish that.

The Atlanta Falcons bounced the Seahawks from the most recent postseason, but quarterback Matt Ryan has been without his top two receivers in Roddy White and Julio Jones.

This is a nightmare matchup for Ryan against the difficult Seattle secondary, even though White is questionable for Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

A powerful rushing attack should allow the Seahawks to dominate time of possession and yield a multiple-touchdown effort from Lynch in the process.

Projected Numbers: 25 carries, 135 yards, 2 TDs; 3 receptions, 20 yards

A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Perhaps it was tendency for Thursday night games to be sloppy in general, but Green dropped an uncharacteristic number of passes in the overtime loss to Miami.

In spite of that, quarterback Andy Dalton continued to lock onto him, targeting Green a whopping 19 times and connecting on 11 passes for 128 yards.

Even Dalton's three interceptions weren't enough to derail Green's perpetual brilliance, as Week 9 was the fourth consecutive game Green had gone over the 100-yard mark.

NFL.com's Gil Brandt pointed out the history Green made in the process:

Green and the Bengals hit the road to face the Baltimore Ravens, whose new-look defense isn't as dominant as it once was. Despite stuffing an incompetent Cleveland Browns running game last week, the defending Super Bowl champions still got lit up by QB Jason Campbell for three touchdowns.

The AFC North leaders will get back on track, thanks to their dynamic passing duo continuing to produce.

Projected Numbers: 12 receptions, 150 yards, 2 TDs

Jimmy Graham, TE, New Orleans Saints

With a nod to Lynch from earlier, "Beast Mode" was the way B/R's Matt Miller described Graham's amazing 51-yard catch and run to paydirt in Week 9's loss to the New York Jets:

Even though he's battling a foot injury, Graham is as bankable as ever as a fantasy star.

The third-year tight end now has an NFL-leading 10 touchdown receptions and trails only DeSean Jackson, Torrey Smith and Calvin Johnson in catches of 20 yards or more.

That combination of explosiveness and nose for the end zone makes Graham a no-brainer start as long as he's willing to fight through the pain.

A tough loss to the Jets will have QB Drew Brees eager to get the Saints back on track and maintain their NFC South lead. Establishing Graham should not be hard at all against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10's Sunday night showcase.

Dallas has struggled against the pass all year and ranks 31st in the league in conceding 305.2 yards per game.

That's bad news for America's Team and great news for Graham fantasy owners who should see him go off for a third consecutive two-touchdown game.

Projected Numbers: 8 receptions, 95 yards, 2 TDs
