Week 3 Waiver Wire: High-Upside Players Who Should Be Added in All Leagues
The fantasy football waiver wire is often used to for quick fixes, but you might be better off looking at a number of high-upside players who are still available in most leagues.
Those with top priorities likely added studs from last week, including running back James Starks and wide receiver Eddie Royal. However, you are better off grabbing quality players before they have huge weeks.
Even after waivers end, these players will likely still be available in your league. Try to grab one or more of them before it is too late.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap ๐ธ

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Terrelle Pryor, QB, Oakland Raiders
After the first week, Terrelle Pryor became a must-add in many leagues thanks to his 112 rushing yards. However, his dud against the Jacksonville Jaguars left him back on the waiver wire, especially with an upcoming matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Still, it is important to note that he finished with 50 rushing yards in Week 2 and will remain a big-time runner throughout the year. From a fantasy perspective, this makes him extremely valuable, as he can put up high numbers consistently.
While he will probably struggle against Denver, the next two weeks after that will be matchups against the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers. Both teams struggle on the defensive end and should allow plenty of yards to Pryor.
The young quarterback is far from perfect at the position, but he can be a quality fantasy player all season, so grab him while he is available.
Robert Turbin, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Fantasy owners of top players love grabbing handcuffs in case starters get hurt. This appears like it will pay off in the case of Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce in the coming week.
However, most people got it wrong when trying to pick a backup for Marshawn Lynch in Seattle. Christine Michael was taken in most drafts after putting together a fantastic preseason, but he has not touched the ball this year.
Instead, second-year player Robert Turbin has remained second on the depth chart for the Seahawks and has been getting some carries early in the season. Against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, he scrambled for 31 yards on six rushing attempts.
Seattle clearly wants to keep establishing the run throughout the season and will likely have a lot of leads to protect, so there are plenty of carries to go around. Lynch cannot do it all, so Turbin will become a bigger part of the offense as the season continues.
If the starter is hurt at any point, Turbin instantly becomes an elite fantasy option that you want on your team.
Aaron Dobson, WR, New England Patriots
With the exception of a 39-yard touchdown reception on his first-ever snap in the NFL, Aaron Dobson looked awful in the Patriots' win over the New York Jets. He dropped passes, ran poor routes and generally looked far from being a polished receiver.
However, it was clear that the team wanted to get him involved in the offense. He finished with 10 targets, second only to Julian Edelman. Without many experienced receivers on the roster to take away looks, this should continue all year.
Additionally, he is really the only deep threat on the roster. If he can turn his potential into actual skill, he could be the new Randy Moss for Tom Brady.
His rawness forces him to remain out of fantasy lineups for the next few weeks, but he still has a lot of upside that could be seen this season.ย
