Bills vs. Jets: TV Info, Spread, Injury Updates, Game Time and More
In a shocking turn of events, Week 3 of the season represents the first time in recent memory an AFC East game not featuring the New England Patriots is worth watching when the Buffalo Bills take on the New York Jets.
Both Buffalo and New York are 1-1 entering the critical AFC East showdown. Buffalo took New England to the wire in Week 1, ultimately losing 23-21. New York did the same in Week 2 before finding the same result, 13-10.
New York has seen both its games decided by four points; Buffalo by three. Impressive rookie quarterbacks Geno Smith and EJ Manuel will play a large role in the outcome of this contest as both teams attempt to keep pace with the undefeated Patriots and Miami Dolphins in the division.

Which Team Will Discover a Running Game?
Buffalo's rookie Manuel has been solid in two outings with 446 yards and three touchdowns, including a game-winning pass to sink Carolina. New York's Smith has done much of the same, throwing for 470 and one score with arguably less talent around him.
While the rookies have been stellar, the game will be decided by which rookie is better supported via his running back stable.
To say the least, New York has struggled on the ground. In Week 1, Smith was the leading rusher while starter Chris Ivory only put up 15 yards on 10 carries. Ivory then put up 52 yards in Week 2. Conversely, Buffalo only received 41 yards from C.J. Spiller before he erupted for 103 last week.
With both defenses playing at a very high level, the rookies will struggle without help. The committee of Ivory and friends or the combo of Spiller and Fred Jackson will decide the outcome of what will be a defensive battle.
Prediction
As impressive as Smith has been, especially when compared with his preseason outings, the extreme lack of talent around him is going to start becoming a bigger issue when defenses game-plan for Smith.
Manuel doesn't have that problem. Stevie Johnson is a true No. 1 receiver and C.J. Spiller is a year removed from posting 1,703 total yards on the ground.
With both defensive units finally blossoming after two solid performances, Spiller is the type of game-changer who gives Buffalo an edge. Last year Spiller went to New York and dropped 194 total yards on the Jets.
Don't expect similarly outrageous numbers, but that alone tells the story of how the Bills enter MetLife with a talent advantage. A late field goal will win it on the road for Buffalo.
Final Score
Bills win 17-14
