Giants vs. Patriots: Final Score, Reactions and Analysis
In the final game of the preseason for both teams, the New England Patriots defeated the New York Giants 28-20.
The Patriots saw flashes of brilliance from their young wide receivers like Josh Boyce and Kenbrell Thompkins, but also saw the good and bad sides of backup quarterback Ryan Mallet.
Mallett was inconsistent, missing on a few throws, including a poorly thrown fade pass that was intercepted but overturned on a poor decision by the officials.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Patriots would continue to see inconsistent quarterback play in the second half, as Tim Tebow would step up under center.
The former Florida Gator had some moments of brilliance and some moments of confusion, as he was sacked and intercepted in between his two touchdown passes.
The Giants kept their first team offense in the game for most of the first quarter, because Eli Manning and his crew had yet to score a touchdown in the red zone during the preseason.
The Giants would eventually find the end zone with Eli under center, but then failed to move the ball with Ryan Nassib and David Carr under center. Not even Curtis Painter could find success for the Giants on offense.
But the team from New York would receive some terrible news, when backup running back Andre Brown suffered a fractured leg during the first half, as announced by the team's Twitter account.
