US Open Tennis Schedule 2013: Day 3 Matchups, Predictions and Analysis
The story of Day 2 at the U.S. Open was Victoria Duval.
Top seeds such as Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Victoria Azarenka advanced with ease, but it was the 17-year-old Haitian American who captivated the crowd in Flushing Meadows on Tuesday night.
Ranked No. 296 in the world, Duval looked more like a seasoned veteran than a teenager with a squeaky voice as she knocked off 2011 champion Sam Stosur, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, in an instant classic that will go down as one of the best moments of the year (unless you're Stosur).

The U.S. Open's Twitter account captured her jubilation:
If Day 3 at Flushing Meadows is able to give us a moment even half as enthralling, we're in for more must-see tennis.

Predictions for Wednesday's Top Stars
Andy Murray vs. Michael Llodra
On a day in which some on the women's side will play their second match of the tournament, Andy Murray will finally get his title defense started on Wednesday night.
Last year's U.S. Open winner has had a rough go on his recent return to the hard courts, suffering disappointing losses in Montreal and in Cincinnati. Nevertheless, he sounds ready to repeat his Queens success:
Opposite him will be Michael Llodra, who went 0-2 in Washington and Montreal and has yet to really challenge Murray in three career matches between the two.
The most recent came at the 2012 Australian Open, with Murray winning in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, 6-0.
Don't expect much else besides smooth sailing here.
Prediction: Murray wins, 6-2, 6-2, 6-1
Serena Williams vs. Galina Voskoboeva
Following a discouraging loss to Victoria Azarenka in the finals at Cincinnati, Serena Williams made an example out of poor Francesca Schiavone in the first round, crushing her with a near double-bagel, 6-0, 6-1.
Galina Voskoboeva, who earned a nice straight-set win over Monica Niculescu in the first round, shouldn't fare much better.
The World No. 77 failed to qualify in both Toronto and Cincinnati, and the only time she played Serena, which was on the clay courts in Rome last year, she lost in straight sets.
There are very few women in the world who are capable of even staying close to Serena when she is at the top of her game, and unfortunately for Voskoboeva, Serena had a look of determination and focus on Monday.
Expect another no-nonsense victory against someone who isn't close to being in her league.
Prediction: Williams wins, 6-1, 6-1
