Jay Cutler To Carolina Panthers Would Be Wise, But That Will Cost Both Teams!

Dave MusgroveApr 1, 2009

Jay Cutler seems to favor the east coast. After all he visits Nashville quite frequently. Too bad the Titans wont pick him up. Although there is a team only a state away who does need a fresh face on their roster.

I'm talking about the Carolina Panthers!

In a sense this would be ideal for Carolina and Denver. The deal of course would not come without a hefty price tag. Jake Delhome is a remarkable quarterback, but he isn't getting any younger, and I believe he has run his coarse with the Panthers.

Now the price tag im talking about is not Delhome, but a disgruntled Julius Peppers. You can expect both Cutler and Peppers to want big, big bucks to play for their new teams.

After seeing Albert Haynesworth's deal, you can surely expect Peppers to want a 'Mile High' $100 million deal.

Sames goes with Jay Cutler. Although he hasn't delivered for a team yet by even getting into the post-season, his young attitude, like my own and I'm 25 will think he is worth that same amount of money.

Jay's a Pro-Bowl QB throwing for over 4,000 yards and 30 TD's—heck yea he deserves that big deal!

NOT!!!!

Jay, I'm sorry you are not Ben Roethlisberger, but you could be.

I do think though that Denver could pull this trade off and especially if Carolina includes Delhome in the trade. Both players would be a huge asset to Denver. A fairly solid QB and a monster defensive player in their new 3-4 scheme. Look out for Denver then.

The whole Cutler fiasco in my opinion is Denver's fault, although it is apart of the business of football. For a new coach to start out like that though, sorry you aren't going to make friends very quick there in the Mile High City!
