Big Afternoon for Michigan Basketball and More "Future" Wolverine QB News

Don't you hate when a season comes down to one game? It's exciting and nerve wrenching at the same time. Well, today is one of those days for the Michigan Basketball Team.

A win today and they are all most assured a spot in the NCAA Tournament. A loss today, would mean they are right back on the bubble and could easily find themselves playing another home game in the NIT.

Either way, this team has made a nice turn around from a 10 win season a year ago. I hope John Beilein's group is focused and doesn't play tight. Let's hope Manny is being Manny, Sims continues to be a beast in the low post, and Novak and Douglass has the touch from three.
Mix in some good defense and a few boards and Michigan might be sipping the sweet taste of the big dance for the first time in over a decade. Game is on ESPN2 at 2:30.
  • Robert Marve a transfer from the University of Miami is said to be considering the Wolverines. This from his father Eugene: adding that his son will choose among Michigan, UCLA, Oklahoma, Purdue, Texas Tech and USF. I don't even want to run through the QB scenario's if this guy comes to Michigan. Does a Gardner commit mean we are not interested in Marve? Robert was the No. 8 ranked Pro Style QB in the class of 2007 and a 4 star recruit from Rivals. He is 6"1", 210lbs and as a freshmen he threw for 1,293 yards, nine touchdowns, and 13 interceptions for the Canes.
  • Darryl Stonum showed up late for his trial date and might have gotten a pretty severe sentence for his first time DUI. Stonum could potentially face up to 93 days in jail, $300 in fines and 360 hours of community services.
  • Devin Gardner might not wait until Monday to announce his decision. He may let everyone know tomorrow, which also happens to be Junior Day for the Wolverines.
  • 2010 DE from Kissimmee, Florida B.J. Butler has recently got a Michigan offer.
  • James Stallons a QB transfer from Wisconsin might end up playing at Grand Valley.
