NFL Picks Week 5: Predicting Biggest Blowouts on Sunday
It's tough enough losing a game in the NFL.
When you get blown to smithereens, it has a way of dismantling a team's confidence, which, of course, leads to more blowouts down the line.
Several teams have some rough matchups on their hands on Sunday in Week 5. No matter how much they game-plan, it's hard to see them leaving the week unscathed.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here's a look at blowouts to watch for in Week 5.
Green Bay Packers at Indianapolis Colts
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers face a Colts defense that is allowing 8.1 yards per pass attempt (27th in the NFL) and has notched just one interception.
It's part of the reason why the Colts are allowing 27.7 points per game (24th in the league) and gave up 41 points to the Chicago Bears in Week 1.
While the Packers passing attack hasn't been as electric as last season, they did get it going against the New Orleans Saints last week, with Rodgers going 31-of-41 for 319 yards while tossing four touchdowns to one interception.
On top of that, Green Bay has 14 sacks this season (fourth in the NFL), and Colts rookie Andrew Luck has completed 53 percent of his passes for 6.9 yards per attempt.
Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs
There's a reason why the Chiefs are 1-3 so far this season: They've allowed 34.0 points per game, the second-worst mark in the NFL.
That includes a 37-20 blowout loss against the San Diego Chargers last week.
The Chiefs are allowing 8.5 yards per pass attempt this season (28th in the NFL) and have given up 10 passing touchdowns (tied for second-most). They have also allowed 4.2 yards per carry (17th).
Beyond that, the Chiefs don't have the explosive offense to keep up (averaging 22.0 points, 18th in the NFL), and they have a turnover differential of negative-13, the worst mark in the NFL.
The Ravens have a turnover differential of plus-four, and they've scored 30.3 points per game (fifth in the NFL). Even if their defense isn't what it once was, this should still be a blowout.
New York Giants vs. Cleveland Browns
The Browns haven't given up a lot of points this season (except for Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals), but they haven't scored a lot of points, either.
Stop me if this sounds familiar: The Browns rank near the bottom of the NFL in points per game.
Cleveland is averaging 18.3 points per game (27th). That includes averaging 6.0 yards per pass attempt (30th) while tossing three touchdowns to seven interceptions.
Buffalo Bills at San Francisco 49ers
What do you get when you match up Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick against the 49ers defense?
A whole lot of trouble.
Fitzpatrick doesn't like defensive pressure; it's been well-documented. As ProFootballFocus.com noted, he completed 41 percent of his passes when under pressure in the last three seasons.
The 49ers have one of the best front sevens in the NFL, and you can bet they will bring pressure. They sacked New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez three times last week.
On top of that, Buffalo is allowing 4.9 yards per carry this season (27th in the NFL), so that should open things up for Frank Gore and Co.
Heck, Alex Smith may even have some success, given that the Bills have allowed 7.7 yards per pass attempt (24th).
This could get ugly quickly in San Francisco.
