2012 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings: Week 3
With an exciting second week under our belts, here are the LestersLegends 2012 Week 3 fantasy football running back rankings.
1. C.J. Spiller, Buffalo Bills
The dude is an animal. With 364 total yards and three TDs through two games, he should shred Cleveland.

2. Arian Foster, Houston Texans
Foster continues to produce. Heโs averaging 111 total yards and 1.5 TDs. He should continue to shine against Denver.
3. Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens
New England has been rock solid against the run, but it hasn't faced the likes of Rice yet. Heโll get his.
4. LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles
Off to a slow start based on last yearโs standards, but he should be just fine against Arizona.
5. Michael Bush, Chicago Bears
He gets the full workload against the Rams. What a pleasant surprise for his owners.
6. Trent Richardson, Cleveland Browns
Showed us why heโs the next best thing. He should destroy Buffalo.
7. Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars
Slowly getting his mojo back (pun intended). Should be ready to roll against Indy.
8. DeMarco Murray, Dallas Cowboys
The Bucs have been solid against the run, but Murray should be able to pound away at them.
9.ย Reggie Bush, Miami Dolphins
Bush is averaging 156 total yards and has a pair of scores. Looks like heโs for real even on a bad team
10. Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks
Beast Mode has continued as Lynch has averaged 103.5 yards and picked up his first score last week. He should be a challenge for Green Bay.
11. Alfred Morris, Washington Redskins
He didnโt get in the end zone, but had his second solid game. Should keep it up against Cincinnati.
12. Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs have improved on offense and Martin is a workhorse. He should produce against Dallas.
13. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
All Day had a mediocre game against Jacksonville. Itโs impressive that heโs even playing. The Niners are tough, but he has the power to get in the end zone if the Vikes can move the ball.
14. Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers
Gore just continues to produce. The Vikingsโ run defense hasnโt allowed a score yet, but that could change this week.
15. BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Cincinnati Bengals
The Law Firm had a nice matchup last week and finished with a solid 105 total yards against Cleveland. He makes a solid RB2 against Washington.
16. Willis McGahee, Denver Broncos
Tough matchup against Houston, but Peyton should open things up for him.
17. Ryan Mathews, San Diego Chargers
OK, say maybe heโll return this week. He should be able to move the chains against Atlanta.
18. Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders
I donโt know whatโs up with McFadden, but Pittsburgh isnโt the team heโll get right against. Heโll have to do his damage in the passing game.
19. Darren Sproles, New Orleans Saints
Sproles has yet to run the football, but he is incredible at catching the ball out of the backfield. He has a nice matchup against the Chiefs.
20. Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans
Iโm not ready to right CJ0.8K off, but itโs bad. Will Detroit be the team he turns it around against?
21. Stevan Ridley, RB, New England Patriots
Had a solid 95 total yards last week. Has a tough draw this time around against Baltimore D.
22. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs
So I donโt know what to make of Charles. He had a nice Week 1 and fell on his face against Buffalo in what looked to be a nice matchup. Itโs early so I wonโt panic. He makes a solid play against the Saints.
23. Kevin Smith, Detroit Lions
Had a decent showing against San Fran (70 total yards). Solid RB2 against Tennessee.
24. Cedric Benson, Green Bay Packers
Bounced back last week. Seattle presents a tough matchup.
25. Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers
Will share the load with D-Will. His involvement in the passing game makes him a decent flex option against the Giants.
26. Donald Brown, Indianapolis Colts
Heโs getting decent carries and has the ability to break one. Takes on Jacksonville.
27. Michael Turner, Atlanta Falcons
He isnโt what he once was, but he should be able to get his yards when teams start focusing on the pass more. Faces San Diego this week.
28. Andre Brown, New York Giants
Bradshaw will likely miss this one, which means Brown could see a lot of action. David Wilson could share the load though.
29. Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams
His groin injury scares me. We wonโt know until later in the week if he can go or not against Chicago.
30. Shonn Greene, New York Jets
Returned to his dog ways, but Pittsburgh is tough. Should bounce back against Miami.
