Week 2 NFL Picks: Underdogs That Will Easily Cover the Spread
If you want to make some money on the NFL in Week 2, pay attention to the underdogs.
Sure, taking Tom Brady and the New England Patriots over the Arizona Cardinals, and then evilly laughing as Rob "Has Anyone Else Noticed You Can Rearrange the Letters in My Name to Spell Bro?" Gronkowski reels in touchdown after touchdown as the Pats easily cover the 13.5-point spread is fun, but if you like living on the edge, take a hard, long look at these underdogs.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Seattle Seahawks (+3) vs. Dallas Cowboys
You might not remember since it was, like, a year ago, but the Dallas Cowboys were one of the more impressive Week 1 teams.
Tony Romo looked as crisp as an overly-crispy particle of food, DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant and the rest of Dallas' dangerous offensive weapons looked, um, dangerous and the defense made Eli Manning look like Cooper Manning.
(Cooper, if you're reading this, I'm sorry.)
The Seahawks, on the other hand, were a trendy playoff pick coming into Week 1, but suffered a disappointing loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Not only that, but the second-coming, aka Russell Wilson, was less than stellar.
But you know what? I don't care.
Seattle is at home, and whenever the 'Hawks, who have a defense capable of making life miserable for Dallas' high-powered attack, get points at the Clink, one of the noisiest stadiums in the league, you take them.
Sold.
Carolina Panthers (+2.5) vs. New Orleans Saints
In Week 1, the Saints weren't able to handle "the next Cam Newton," who is also known as RGIII, or more officially, Robert Griffin III.
And now they're going to be able to slow down the "real" Cam Newton? Yeah, right.
That's like getting super scared after watching the American One Missed Call and then thinking you'll be OK to watch the Japanese version.
Yes, Cam Newton is the Japanese version of One Missed Call, and no, the New Orleans Saints' weak secondary isn't going to be able to slow him down.
That leaves Drew Brees versus Carolina's defense, which looked improved against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
Josh Freeman isn't quite Drew Brees, you say? That may be kind of true, but I still see Carolina winning this shootout at home.
Baltimore Ravens (+2.5) at Philadelphia Eagles
Wait, what?
The Ravens looked like a legitimate Super Bowl team on Monday night during their shellacking of the Cincinnati Bengals. Also, Joe Flacco apparently made a trade with the devil, giving up his mustache for elite QB status.
And as far as the Eagles' Week 1 performance against the Cleveland Browns, it was the exact opposite, especially for Michael Vick.
I don't care if this game is being played in Michael Vick's backyard, this one just seems too good to be true. If you listen closely, you can hear all the money in my bank account being put on the Ravens.
