Kenny Britt: Tennessee Titans Activate WR from PUP List
The Tennessee Titans have taken Kenny Britt off of the physically unable to perform list, and the wideout will be on the active roster for the start of the 2012 NFL season.
The NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported the news via Twitter:
"And another ... Titans announce WR Kenny Britt passed his physical and was removed from PUP. Next step: Commissioner discipline.

Breer notes the two factors that have made this an eventful offseason for the Titans’ wideout.
Britt suffered a torn ACL in the Titans' Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos last season. His surgery and subsequent rehabilitation process has kept him on the PUP list until now.
However, Britt may face a suspension from NFL commissioner Rodger Goodell after being arrested this summer for driving under the influence. CBS Sports’ Will Brinson adds that this was Britt's eighth arrest since becoming a professional in 2009.
Britt caught nine touchdowns in 12 games during the 2010 season, but only pulled in 42 catches for 775 yards. In 2011, he looked ready for his breakout season when he caught 14 passes for 271 yards and three touchdowns in the first two games of the season. He added three receptions and 18 yards against the Broncos before missing the rest of the season with the knee injury.
The 6’3”, 215-pound receiver out of Rutgers was a first-round pick in 2009. His size and athletic abilities make him a nightmare for most cornerbacks.
He has several challenges to overcome before he can live up to his potential. An ACL tear takes time, and he will not be able to jump right back into action and play at his pre-injury level. Should he miss time due to a suspension as well, this will further impede his ability and contributions for Tennessee this season.
Kenny Britt still has a considerable amount of work ahead of him before reaching the top of the depth chart, but getting off the PUP list is certainly a step in the right direction.
