Vince McMahon Goes by Austin's DTA for WWE's Creative Team!
Recently, news surfaced that Vince McMahon changed up a few ideas for storylines—one was the proposed Christian Cage-Jeff Hardy storyline. He was behind the idea that we see now with Matt Hardy. But he was not behind the entire idea to change it.
He does help out with storylines all the time but does not write them up a lot of the time. He has the show's head writers do that, mainly because he, himself, is not a great writer.
Vince is more of an idea guy; he comes up with ideas and the writers write them. Simple enough, if you ask me. But the fact is that those writers talk about the ideas—and sometimes not with just each other and that's not good for the WWE, because they want to surprise us.

They have shocked us recently, by talking about storylines, then changing them at the last minute. Take the Edge World Heavyweight Championship win for instance.
It was one thing that no one saw coming, I personally thought Edge would retain his WWE Title. But then, he lost in the first five or six minutes. By the way, it seems as if everyone is talking about Edge losing quickly.
Not one person has talked about John Cena losing in like three minutes in the World Heavyweight Championship match. But, I guess there is no need to talk about that, right?
Anyway, Vince really wants all the wrestling fans to be surprised in coming events. He wants all the Wrestlemania 25 plans to be shocking and build excitement. That way, no one will know what is going to happen, like at some shows.
Vince doesn't trust anyone—not even his creative team. Right now, they're all kept in the dark. And some say that it's usually the creative team that gives things away. Sometimes, they are so excited that they will let things slip, while talking to insiders.
Who then, in turn, put the storyline ideas on the website that they work for? It was rumored that even recently departed Freddie Prinze, Jr. was giving ideas away. Of course, no one can confirm that.
Prinze left mainly because of the hectic schedule the WWE has; he's not the first to leave because of it.
But, Vince is going by Austin's DTA right now by not trusting anyone. As of now, no storylines have been discussed. They will all be discussed at the last minute, leaving little time for people to get the information.
For the next month, insiders will have difficulty—not even post-Wrestlemania things have been posted. Sometimes, you can get clues from the scheduled locations of events. Sometimes, when WWE is set to come to town, they will have ads running or signs posted.
They will talk about matches and other things scheduled for that night. If it is a championship match, then you obviously know who will remain champion or not.
But as of now, there are no match postings anywhere. They are going to put up advertisements, just days before the show, if at all. Signs will be up, like they are for every show, showing what the match lineups, but that is it.
So now, all of the fans are out of the loop, until it happens. The insiders will have trouble getting information, and there are no clues for information or things happening.
So as of now, we can safely say that not one person knows what will happen, except for Vince and a few who are close to him.
WWE Draft news has not even been posted yet, as there are no talks about it. Just as Vince is trying to do, he will not discuss the ideas, until the last minute.
Writers will be on their heels—that is all I can say. They will earn their paycheck for the next few months—that is certain.
Do you like the surprise or would you like to know what's going to happen, looking forward to it?
