Wade Barrett's Return
WWE aired a vignette on this week's edition of RAW featuring a menacing version of Wade Barrett. He was sporting a beard and the promo seemed to be playing off his background as a bare-knuckle boxer. Barrett has been out since prior to WrestleMania with a severe elbow dislocation, but the vignette would seem to suggest that he is on the verge of coming back very soon.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What Should Barrett Do Upon Returning?
Prior to getting injured, it seemed as though Barrett was in line for a major push. He was unleashing the "Barrett Barrage" on the WWE and had scored wins over Randy Orton, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan in a matter of weeks. There were rumors that the Money in the Bank ladder match would be contested at WrestleMania with Barrett winning, but then he got injured. With that in mind, will he be elevated to the top immediately.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
Perhaps Barrett could use one mid-card feud when he returns to shake off the rust, but we would like to see him in the main-event scene almost immediately. Sheamus has been a good World Heavyweight Champion, but he is in desperate need of a true challenger. His feud with Alberto Del Rio has been lackluster and nobody truly believes that Del Rio has a chance to beat him.
Barrett would be the perfect challenger, however, because he can match Sheamus in terms of size and the notion that he is a real fighter might make him seem like a threat to dethrone Sheamus.
Barrett is great for a big man in the ring and fantastic on the mic, so he has everything necessary to be a world champion. Hopefully his opportunity comes sooner rather than later.

Shawn Michaels' WWE Future
The WWE staged a Shawn Michaels Appreciation Night on Monday as RAW was held in his hometown of San Antonio. Michaels appeared briefly on the show and had a bit of a confrontation with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.
Triple H came out to support HBK and that prompted Lesnar and Heyman to leave. The big news, however, is that Michaels will be in Triple H's corner at SummerSlam.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will HBK Wrestle Another Match?
Michaels has had quite a bit of involvement with the WWE since WrestleMania and that has sparked speculation that HBK may not have wrestled his last match. Michaels refereed the Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and The Undertaker and since he will have a role at SummerSlam as well, it would seem to suggest that he doesn't mind pitching in when it comes to the big events.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
After the "End of an Era" match at WrestleMania, rumors were running rampant that Michaels and Triple H might face each other at WrestleMania XXIX. Those rumors cooled, but the WWE has the perfect opportunity to plant the seeds.
Michaels will be in Triple H's corner, so perhaps he will attempt to help Triple H against Lesnar at some point in the match, but accidentally take out Triple H, leading to a Lesnar win.
That would allow Lesnar to move on to something else and it would start the long build toward a match between Triple H and Michaels. While Michaels has said time and time again that he is happy in retirement, Triple H is likely the one guy that he would return to face.
If that indeed happens, it will lay the groundwork for one of the best and most star-studded WrestleManias in history.

RRR Draft Analysis
With the first-ever Ring Rust Radio draft in the books, each of RRR's panelists made their own fantasy cards based on the rosters that they drafted. Everyone had to make some compromises since you obviously can't draft a company full of superstars, but all of us did a very nice job. Well, all of us except for Donny Wood, that is.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Did Donny Wood Make the Worst Card Ever?
Friendly banter is a staple of Ring Rust Radio and part of what makes the show entertaining, but Brandon Galvin, Michael Cahill and Mike Chiari were merciless in their bashing of the card that Wood put together. He had a nice headliner in the form of Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Bryan, but the rest of the card was truly lacking and the RRR crew made sure that he heard about it.
Ring Rust Radio's Take
It's tough to pinpoint one match where Donny went wrong because there are so many to choose from. A Money in the Bank match filled with random spare parts is one issue, as is a tag-team match with random, thrown-together teams like Kane & Abyss or Zack Ryder & Eric Young.
He topped it off with the ridiculous notion that Angle and Bryan would wrestle an iron-man match with 23 falls, after which Kevin Steen would cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Bryan.
Donny may have technically been in charge of Ring of Honor, but TNA might want to think about hiring him as a creative writer in real life since his mind-numbing decisions would be a good fit.
Ultimately it is up to the people to decide which panelist did the best job with their draft and ensuing card, but none of us are too keen on Donny's chances.
