Terrell Owens Reportedly Agrees to Terms with Seattle Seahawks

David DanielsJun 7, 2018

Terrell Owens is back, this time on the Seattle Seahawks.

After one-year stints with the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills, and most recently a short stint with the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, T.O. is back where he belongs: the NFL. In 2012, he’ll rock a Hawks uniform.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported the breaking news.

"

He's baaaaaack! Terrell Owens has agreed to a one year deal with the Seahawks. Hasn't signed it yet but agreed to terms

T.O. and Randy Moss head-to-head twice a year?

Get your popcorn ready.

As crazy as it sounds, Owens, as well as Moss, could play significant roles in the race for the NFC West title.

According to Bodog, Seattle has the worst odds out of any team for the NFC West title. Owens is still in search for that elusive Super Bowl ring, and he probably won't find it in the Pacific Northwest, but it isn't like he had many any other options.

T.O. is 38 years old. He hasn’t played a down in the NFL since tearing his ACL in the 2011 offseason. But remember, this is the same wide receiver who reeled in 72 receptions for 983 yards and nine touchdowns in just 14 games his final season in the league.

If Matt Flynn lives up to expectations in Seattle, their passing attack could actually be solid. Throw a capable Owens in with Sidney Rice, Doug Baldwin and Zach Miller, and Flynn’s arsenal doesn’t look half bad.

Of course, Owens’ ability to duplicate his 2010 success is much easier said than done. But if anyone could take a year off and come back to make an impact at 38 years old, it’s Mr. I Love Me Some Me himself.
