Wrestlemania 25 Plans Revealed: Top Star Switching Brands

Joe Burgett Feb 17, 2009

As many saw at No Way Out Sunday Night, Edge lost his WWE Title in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber. Triple H was the victor in the match.

But then Edge came out and attacked Kofi Kingston and then entered the match. refs were skeptical, but went ahead and started the match. Edge entered later on, pinned John Cena after a Code Breaker, 619, and spear.

Then he took out Rey Mysterio to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge is now an eight-time world champion. But many wondered what happened. How did Edge get in the match?

And, worst of all, how did he actually win the title?

Those questions were answered by Vickie Guerrero last night on RAW. After Stephanie McMahon went to the hospital with Shane, she became the next highest ranking GM in the arena.

So she made an executive decision to put Edge in the Title match after Kingston was taken out. Of course Edge took him out, but she forgot to mention that.

Since it was a legal decision and is in her right to do so, Edge's World Title win was confirmed by WWE management. So it kind of makes you think, how did a SmackDown superstar win a RAW Title, yet stay on SmackDown?

Well it is simple, see it will be defended at Wrestlemania 25 against a RAW superstar in John Cena. As you saw on RAW last night, Cena mentioned a re-match. Which he has just so happens to have a right to in his contract.

And as you saw Triple H won a World Title too, the WWE Title. And since he is a SmackDown superstar he should defend it against a SmackDown superstar right?

Well no, as you saw Edge of SmackDown will be taking on John Cena of RAW for the World Title. So it would be OK if Randy Orton took on Triple H.

Also Orton has the right, as he has mentioned in the past, to any World Title in the WWE. That included the WWE Title on SmackDown.

But since RAW needs a World Title, and Edge would never leave SmackDown because of Vickie. Triple H will be moving to RAW. Many speculated this happening way back, but had no idea how it would happen.

As you saw by Matt Hardy, a WWE Superstar can leave a brand if he wants to go to  another. (Hardy was on ECW and went to SmackDown)

So Triple H leaving for RAW is not to far fetched. But don't think Cena will be moving to SmackDown. The WWE has no intentions on sending him there.

The reason why Triple H will is because of Stephanie, from what is going around they will finally embrace the marriage between them. They realize that all the fans know it, and it was used in the past.

So why keep trying to avoid it? Especially when it works so well into the storyline.

The marriage was an on screen thing for a long time, and then they did a sort of divorce angle a while back when Stephanie pretended to be having a baby. But that was really the last angle we saw the two in together.

Also Stephanie left TV for a while to raise her child. But now she is back and better than ever. Also she is doing well as a GM, and with what we saw on RAW this past week having Triple H back on the show would make it a great show to watch.

The ratings were huge this week, as always after PPVs. And then ending was the bets since we saw Orton punt Vince McMahon's head off.

This time Orton was involved again, but this time punted Shane McMahon and RKOed Stephanie. I mean he could punt Stephanie, it would not do well under the PG rating first off. Second she could take the punt because it would hurt her to bad to sell it properly.

You saw the intensity in Triple H last night on RAW, and it looks to be a great RAW next week already. And it is only Tuesday.

So the Wrestlemania plans are set to happen.

Triple H defending the McMahon family honor vs Randy Orton trying to start his Legacy.

John Cena trying to regain his unfairly lost World Title vs. The Ultimate Opportunist Edge.
