ECW: A New Era Of Extreme (Week Two)

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to my second installment of ECW. Lately myself Greg and Ray have been writing our own articles of how a proper WWE program should be run.

We hope you all have been enjoying our hard work. Well, its about that time again so, sit back and strap on your seat belts as I try my best to entertain you! Get ready for ECW: A New Era Of Extreme...Week Two!

The show opens with a recap of last week's show.

(Basically showing the huge transformation of Tommy Dreamer going back to is old ECW ways and showing a newfound passion for extreme, and the surprising return of ECW extremist Rob Van Dam.)

The opening video and theme plays.

The pyro goes off and we are under way to ECW!

Striker: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another exciting episode of ECW! I'm your favorite voice on Tuesday nights, Matt Striker. And I'm sidekicked by my favorite nerd of a student, Todd Grisham.

Todd: Uh... I'm certainly not your student nor am I a nerd! But you are correct in saying that tonite is an exciting episode of ECW! We are treated to see John Morrison to take on Ricky Ortiz in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. And Our main event is even more impressive as Jack Swagger goes head to head with Mr. Tuesday Night himself, Rob Van Dam!

Striker: You're right partner as Rob Van Dam made his surprising return last week taking on the former tag-team champs Miz and Morrison. And what a match it was as he and Finlay defeated the impressive team and qualified for the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out in two week's time.

(We cut to Teddy Long in his office discussing something with Tiffany until The Miz forcefully enters the office.)

Teddy: What's yo problem man?

Miz: What the hell is your problem by not having the chick magnet compete for a spot in the elimination chamber match tonight?

Teddy:Wait a minute playa. What makes you think that I'm not going to give you that opportunity? But I guess that having you to compete tonight would keep you busy enough not to interfere in tonight's match involving your partner John Morrison and Ricky Ortiz. So you want that shot right? 

Miz: Are you deaf Ted? Of course I want to fight tonight!

Teddy: Well fine then. You got it. Tonight in one on one fashion, you will take on none other than the ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer. Now even though I easily gave you this opportunity, you must win. Because if both you and/or Mr. Morrison lose your respective matches tonite, then both you and Morrison will have to start back at the bottom of the ladder and fight your way back up agian!

(The crowd cheers loud.)

Miz: What?! You can't do this to us we...

Teddy: Enough! Consider this as punishment for losing the tag team titles to Cryme Tyme last week on Monday Night Raw. Now get out of my office before I take away your opportunity completely!

Miz: But...

Teddy: Out!

(The Miz leaves, but as he leaves Teddy Long leans outside of his office and yells to the Miz.)

Teddy: By the way Miz, I would go ahead and get ready if I were you because your match starts next! Holla, holla, holla!

We go to commercial.

We return.

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

The Miz vs Tommy Dreamer

Tommy Dreamer's theme hits. The crowd is chanting ECW, ECW, ECW! so loud that you can bearly hear Chimel annouce Tommy's name. (Seems like Tommy is on is way to main eventing shows again with the recent pops that he's been receiving. *hint hint*)

Next, out comes the Miz and the crowd booes him of course.

As soon as the bell rings, Tommy charges forward and spears Miz and starts whealing on him with right and left handed blows to his head as the Miz tries to cover up, but to no avail.

The blows take their toll as the Miz pokes Tommy in the eye and rolls out of the ring and staggers for a while. Tommy is fazed for a short moment as he bounces off of the ropes and hits a suicide dive from inside the ring onto Miz. Tommy stands up and taunts towards the crowd.

We cut to commercial.

We return, as the Miz is dazed in the corner and Tommy is delivering back to back right handed blows to the face of the Miz. The Miz sits down in the corner and Tommy backs all the way into the opposite corner and he yells: ECW!

He rushes to the Miz, but the Miz moves out of the way just in time and rolls up Dreamer for the count. 1..2.. Tommy powers out and quicly gets to his feet, but is taken down hard with a powerful clothesline by the Miz. The Miz mounts Dreamer and locks in an underhook arm wrench.

The crowd is hot! They are all on their feet chanting, "Lets go Dreamer!" (Clap, clap...clap, clap, clap)

Dreamer starts to scream and he rocks back and forth. Finally, he powers his way out. The Miz bounces off of the ropes and tries a clothesline, but Dreamer ducks it and hits a neckbreaker.

He goes for the cover. 1..2.. and the Miz just barely gets his shoulder off of the mat. He slowly gets the Miz back to his feet and picks him up for the "Dreamer Driver", but Miz counters it and hits "The Mizard of Oz!" He covers Dreamer. 1..2.. and he kicks out! The Miz looks at Dreamer in shock and signals to the entrance.

(Out comes John Morrison)

Morrison climbs up on the apron to distract the referee. The Miz goes to the outside of the ring and grabs his Slammy trophy. He get back in and waits for Dreamer to finally get to his feet. As soon as Dreamer reaches his feet, he gets clocked in the head with the slammy.

(He's busted open for the second week in a row!)

Morrison leaves as the Miz covers Dreamer. 1..2.. He powers out! Dreamer jumps up to his feet and smiles at the Miz. The Miz slowly backs into his corner. Dreamer charges to the Miz and hits him with a turnbuckle clothesline.

The Miz hits the mat. Dreamer goes to the outside and grabs the kendo stick. The Ref tries to take it away from him, but Dreamer hits him with it. He slowly directs his attention to the stunned Miz.

(The crowd starts to go nuts and chants, "ECW, ECW, ECW!")

He darts over to the Miz and Dreamer starts beating him terribly. He breaks the stick across the back of the Miz. Dreamer goes back outside of the ring. He looks under the ring and slowly pulls out a bat wrapped in barbed wire. He gets back into the ring. The Miz slowly rises to his feet.

Morrison has appeared again on the ramp and he looks very concerned and is begging Dreamer not to attack th Miz. The Miz in a daze turns to Dreamer. Dreamer almost knocks the Miz's head off with that shot. The downed ref calls for the bell and the Miz is announced as the winner. Dreamer hits ref with the bat.

(Out comes the whole ECW lokeroom, staff, and security!)

The security enters the ring and Dreamer attacks all of them. Morrison slowly sneaks the Miz out of the arena. Dreamer clears the ring and his theme hits. He the top rope and holds the bat above his head and yells, "ECW!"

We go to commercial.

We return as the replay footage of what just recently happened before the break. We then cut to what happened during the break.

(John Morrison walks the bloddy and battered Miz to the ambulance. He opens the back of the ambulance and all of a sudden, Dreamer jumps out and attacks the Miz. Morrison bails as security restrains Dreamer. We cut to Teddy Long inside of the ring, but before he can speak, Morrison comes running out.)

Morrison: You caused this to happen tonite you jackal! All we wanted was a chance to be put into the Chamber in two weeks, but you had to put my tag partner into a one-on-one with that psychopath Tommy Dreamer! Is this what you had in mind as a punishment?

I believe that if anyone deserves to be punished, it is Dreamer for going outside of the rules and probably injuring Miz so badly to the point where he won't be able to compete at No Way Out! What are you as a General Manager going to do about it?

Teddy:Well first of all this isn't what I had in mind, playa. I had originally planned for tonight's matches to be fair one-on-one competitions. After what I just saw, you are correct for saying that someone went outside the rules to gain the advantage, but it wasn't Dreamer. It was both you and your boyfriend Miz.

But nonetheless, he won the match via disqualification so he does get his shot in the chamber if he's healthy enough to compete. You on the other hand still have a match tonight against Ricky Ortiz. By the way Mr. Morrison just to make things fair, this match is now a no disqualification match.

Morrison: What?! This is the second time in one night that you screwed us over...

Teddy: Shut up! You ought to be grateful that I'm not disqualifying Miz from the chamber in the first place for that stunt ya'll tried to pull on Dreamer moments ago. You ought to be lucky that you even got a shot at the chamber match at No Way Out.

(The crowd is hyped!)

Morrison: Wait a minute Teddy...

(Out comes Dreamer with the bat at hand and Morrison escapes through the crowd. Therefore, the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match is cancelled for tonight. Sorry Guys.)

We go to commercial.

We return as it is time for the Main Event.

Main Event:

Jack Swagger vs. Rob Van Dam

Out comes Jack Swagger. He slowly strolls to the ring and exchanges words with some of the fans along the way. He enters the ring and grabs the mic.

Swagger: Ladies and Gentlemen. You are looking at 263 pounds of pure athlete. You are looking at the future of the WWE. Ladies and Gentlemen, you are looking at the great, no you are looking at the greater, no you are looking at the greatest ECW champion of all time!

(He gains major heat.)

Swagger: Earlier today I made an open challenge to any veteran on this pathetic ECW roster and for a long time, no one answered my challenge. Until just before the opening of this program, Rob Van Dam...

(The crowd cheers and chants, "RVD, RVD, RVD!")

Swagger: Answered my challenge with a smile on his ugly little face. Rob I know you can hear me man, listen. You should have not even returned last week because, I'm gonna prove to you, to Teddy Long, and to these ingrates of WWE fans, that you are past your prime!

MY TIME IS NOW AND THERE IS NOT A DAMN THING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!

(His music hits and the crowd's booes are completely overshadowing the music.)

We go to commercial.

We return. 

(RVD's music hits and the crowd explodes out of their seats!)

Swagger quickly leaves the ring to meet RVD on the ramp. Both men exchange blows. Swagger looks as if he is getting frustrated with this and tries to clothesline RVD, but he ducks it and delivers one hell of a turn kick to Swagger's face. RVD runs down to the ring and looks under the apron and gets a steel chair.

Swagger gets up and turns around, but RVD hits him with the "Vandaminator!" Swagger is laid out on the ramp. RVD grabs him by his legs and pulls him to the ring. He gets the dazed Swagger to is feet and rolls him into the ring. RVD enters the ring on the opposite side.

(The bell finally rings.)

RVD signals the "Rolling Thunder" taunt to the live audience. Swagger is still laid out. RVD rolls towards Swagger and lands to "Rolling Thunder". He goes for the cover. 1..2.. Swagger foot was on the ropes. RVD looks frustrated. He slowly gets Swagger up, but Swagger rakes RVD's eyes and hits him with a german suplex. RVD is down as the move caused him to land on his neck.

Swagger yells, "IT'S MY TIME", to the audience and they boo even more. He throws RVD into a corner and starts shoving his shoulder into the sternum of RVD. After the fourth shove shove, Swagger sets RVD onto the top rope and delivers more right hands to RVD's head. Swagger climbs upto the top rope, but RVD delivers three headbutts to Swagger that sends him crashing to the mat. RVD stands on the top rope and yells, "R...V...D!"

He goes for the "5-Star Frog Splash", but Swagger gets his knees up and RVD lands right on top of them. Swagger goes for the cover. 1..2.. RVD just barely gets his shoulder up. Swagger staggers to his feet. He quickly walks over to the downed RVD and starts dropping back to back elbows across his chest. He stands up and mocks the crowd by doing the "R...V...D!" taunt and he goes for an extra elbow, but RVD rolls out of the way.

(The show should have ended about three minutes ago, that's why there are no more breaks.)

(The crowd goes nuts!)

RVD runs off of the ropes and hits a tornado ddt. He stands up and waits for Swagger to get back to his feet. RVD climbs to the top rope and hits the flying surperkick. Swagger is down in the middle of the ring. RVD climbs back up top and hits the "5-Star Frog Splash!" 1-2-3! It's over as RVD has defeated the ECW Champion Jack Swagger.

As RVD celebrates, Mark Henry comes out of nowhere and clotheslines RVD in the back of his head. He then gets RVD back up and hits "The World's Strongest Slam!" RVD looks hurt. Mark Henry bouces off of the ropes and lands a huge splash right across the chest of Swagger. He then picks up the ECW Championship Title and holds it above his head as Tony Atlas picks up the microphone and says:

Atlas: Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to the World's Strongest Champion, Mark Henry!

Mark Henry laughs at the damage he caused as the camera cuts to Finlay and Hornswoggle in the lockeroom looking at the monitor in disgust.

The show now ends.
