Christian Cage to Interrupt WWE Title ELC? Could Happen...

With Christian wandering the world of extreme, we could only imagine where he could end up fighting on the WWE's No. 3 show. Jack Swagger isn't exactly as big a headline as Christian possibly coming back for oh say..emotional, fueled redemption?

Okay, so ECW has given us the scare of a Jack Swagger title fight with Christian at Mania, but with a different option still available and more lucrative, why can't we see Christian in some way or form screw his former partner Edge out of his WWE gold?

With two top card wrestlers besides Edge in the fight in the Undertaker and Triple H, Edge could be stamping his ticket to Mania based on the fact of the history behind Edge & Christian.

Ever since WWE/TNA made wrestlers like Edge and Christian top tier fighters, the heavywight fights havn't been what they used to be in the WWF Attitude era. We can all remember the likes of Stone Cold, the Rock, (heel) Triple H, and (Badass) Undertaker. Back in those days at least, they had a history to go along with their prestige.

If we saw Triple H and Edge as the final two in the chamber and Christian were to intervene and cost Edge the title, I wouldn't put it past the design to pit Edge against the Undertaker in a match to determine Triple H's opponent for Wrestlemania. Christian intervene again? Of course, that's just how you can get a feud like this rolling.

With the Hardyz already well on the road of "fueled" feud, Edge and Christian would only put icing on the cake and possibly pit Matt and Jeff with their long time rivals in a mixed tag match of some sort. (Ex. Matt Hardy and Edge vs Jeff Hardy and Christian) The possibilities are many.

Then we could see Triple H and Undertaker in a match of two face wrestlers (similar to Batista & Taker from a couple years back, but with much more history) of many years and many turns. A match worthy of main event status and one to mirror the possible matchup for the World Heavyweight title of RAW.

With the likely nature of a three+ wrestling fiasco for the World Title at Mania, the storyline has McMahon-Helmsley written all over it (just lacking the fathers of the rivalry, Triple H and Vince). Make no mistake with Shane involved, I can see the McMahon's involved in the World Title and possibly see a fourth fighter in an underdog fighter that could come to surprise and maybe win.

In any case, Edge will in all likelyness be pitted in a match with Christian. And if WWE really wants to sell it, Jericho will somehow be tied into it.
