Is anyone in the country playing hotter than the Seminoles right now? It would be hard to convince me otherwise.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Florida State is coming off one of the most impressive road wins of the year after upsetting the Clemson Tigers. FSU senior guard and court general Toney Douglas has had a lot to do with the recent success.
It was Douglas who dropped 32 points on UNC in what could have been the biggest victory of his career if it wasn't for Ty Lawson's game winner at the buzzer (that was one of the luckiest shots in the history of college basketball). Florida State was robbed of a victory in that game, but instead of folding the rest of the season, they built off the momentum of what could have been.
Douglas responded in the next game with a 21-point outburst in a low scoring victory versus a very talented Georgia Tech squad. As a heavy underdog, the Seminoles took a road trip to Clemson and stood in the face of the Tigers—and legitimately beat them from start to finish, completely controlling the game.
Florida State now finds themselves 18-5, and 5-3 in ACC play, where they are right in the heart of things. Toney Douglas is overshadowed by players like Tyler Hansbrough and Jeff Teague, but if I had to give an MVP trophy to one player in the ACC, it would be Toney Douglas. Douglas is the only player on his team averaging in double figures and has put the Seminoles on his back the entire season.
The Seminoles are hosting the Cavaliers of Virginia on Tuesday night in what should be a long night if Douglas gets going. Tallahassee is a very difficult place to win, and the Seminoles have been able to protect their home court convincingly this season.
Virginia is 7-12 on the year and 1-7 in conference play. They are giving up over 73 points in opponents and are 1-6 on the road this season. I have had the chance to watch the Cavaliers play numerous times this season, and their poor defensive play is what has really hurt them.
On the road in Tallahassee, my hunch is that they get blown out of the water by halftime and the Seminoles never look back. FSU is not a team you want to see on your schedule right about now and unfortunately for Virginia, they got them at the worst time in the worst way—on their home court.
FSU 88, Virginia 67
