WWE Rumors: If Vince McMahon Fires John Laurinaitis, Who Will Replace Him?
Is the WWE ready for another change at the top of the food chain?
It looks like Vince McMahon may have some harsh words for the current general manager John Laurinaitis.
No one says "You're fired!" quite like Vince.
Look for something huge to happen—but it may not be what we all think.
If there is an off-chance that Johnny Ace does get fired, here are few people who could replace him.
Vince McMahon
1 of 7Could the Chairman of the Board come out of "retirement" and grace us with his presence on screen again?
That would mean ratings!
McMahon has a certain arrogance and charm that resonates with the brands which also means everyone knows who is in charge.
Vince is the obvious choice, which means it probably will not happen.
Teddy Long
2 of 7Would McMahon shock us all and put the responsibility back in the hands of the man who lost control of SmackDown to the current GM?
Long's swagger and attitude are much more appealing than this damn "People Power" shtick.
It would not surprise me if Long gets back into the picture.
Eve
3 of 7There is a certain appeal to this choice.
Especially if she wears her hair up and puts on those librarian glasses.
Move over Vickie Guerrero, we have found someone sexier.
And Eve would still be able to follow the lead of John Laurinaitis and his wishes that were not fulfilled.
Jim Ross
4 of 7I want to see more of him on screen.
Things are not the same without JR and Jerry Lawler calling a match or making comments about the obvious.
His expertise and his respect among the roster mean he has few peers.
Jim Ross would be an excellent choice.
Edge
5 of 7Look at him as an enforcer much like Sting has been on TNA.
The fans love Edge and his popularity has not waned. He should still be in the ring and as long as the scripts are written in such a way so that he is not involved in a violent situation, maybe a former ring general would be ideal for shipping "average" wrestlers into even better wrestlers.
Plus, he could also conspire with his best friend Christian to make sure Captain Charisma gets another world title shot.
Mick Foley
6 of 7Another logical choice.
Foley is of great mind and equally adept skill at putting together some nice scripts.
Foley, however, would be too eager to get in the ring and try to wrestle.
We are always talking about Foley and his desire for one last match—this may lead to that happening.
Stephanie McMahon
7 of 7This might make the most sense of all.
With Triple H as the COO of the company and Daddy McMahon wanting changes in creative measures on Raw, Stephanie would be a welcomed addition to the on-camera scene.
McMahon has on-screen experience in roles for and against the family, which leads us to wonder if she would ever turn on her father again in an on-screen scenario.
If there was ever anyone who was just like their father, Stephanie may be as devious as her old man.
And this could make Triple H's life a little easier.
