USA vs. Brazil Live Stream: Online Viewing Info for International Friendly Match

Tim DanielsJun 3, 2018

The United States will be looking to pick up right where it left off against Scotland when the Americans take on a talented Brazil side tonight. It's the second of three friendlies leading up to the start of World Cup qualification next week.

Landon Donovan led the way against Scotland, scoring a hat trick and setting up another goal. It was the team's fifth straight victory dating back to last November, including a shocking upset of Italy on foreign soil in February.

Here's a look at all the key information for today's match along with some players to watch and a game prediction. It will be a good chance to see how much progress the team has made under manager Jurgen Klinsmann.

Players to Watch

Michael Bradley (USA)

Bradley's role with the team has been in flux ever since Klinsmann took over, but he made a strong statement with a terrific performance against Scotland. Not only did he score a memorable goal, but he was reliable in the midfield for the entire match.

When he's in top form, there isn't a player on the roster who can play a more complete game than Bradley. He can track back to help in the defensive third or get forward to become a dangerous threat on the attack.

He'll be asked to do a lot more against Brazil since the world's sixth-ranked team will control possession. Another good showing should secure his place on the squad for the World Cup and beyond.

Hulk (Brazil)

Brazil enters tonight's contest on a seven-match winning streak. Its latest victory came over Denmark last weekend and Hulk led the way with two goals. The 25-year-old rising star will be a tough to defend for an American back line with some question marks.

Hulk possess a rare combination of strength (of course) and goal-scoring instincts that give him a great chance to become the next elite Brazilian star. He's a throwback player who should continue to improve in the coming years.

The only American defender with any chance of matching his power would be Oguchi Onyewu. So it will be interesting to see if the veteran gets the call to make sure Hulk doesn't dominate Team USA like he did Denmark.

Jermaine Jones (USA)

Even though he has often been overlooked, Jones has been playing really well for the United States lately. He's become a lot more confident in the midfield since his early days with the squad and plays with plenty of intensity.

He found the net with a well-placed header against Scotland and deserves another chance to prove his worth. If he keeps performing at a high level, it will give Klinsmann more options when it comes to deciding where to play Donovan and Clint Dempsey when everyone is healthy.

Above all else, he's a hardworking player that fits the team's new system well. Things are really starting to take shape for the Americans and with each passing game it looks more and more like Jones is going to play a key role moving forward.
